For $166.00 AUD this was excellent. We had a beachfront room with beautiful views of the bay. The food was excellent and room service didn’t cost any extra, just the same reasonable prices of the resort. It’s low season so there was a rainy day, but otherwise really loved this place. Thank you for a great stay.

Let me start by saying that the location of the hotel is like a postcard, on the most beautiful beach, but you can come even if you are not a customer of the hotel because there are no deckchairs or services of any kind and the beaches are public! There is no swimming pool, don't look at the photos. The type C room was new and relatively spacious but there were some animals that defecated directly on the sink right next to the toothbrushes. You couldn't leave anything sitting in the bathroom because you would find it with excrement on it. We pointed this out several times but no action was taken other than wiping the feces with a dirty cloth. Every now and then we found some small cockroaches in the room in the evening near the bed. Unfortunately the weather was terrible so we couldn't use the kayak in the sea. The lights in the evening are completely insufficient to enter and exit the rooms so you have to bring your phone and make yourself light so as not to risk falling and hurting yourself or stepping on something strange. The descent to the hotel is decent even if the last stretch is in bad shape with mud in case of rain. Be careful. The common areas are dilapidated, an open-air landfill with rubbish everywhere and ruined paths. In the bathroom a sewer smell came from outside. The bar was closed and disused, we asked for a beer on the first day and they seemed annoyed. The unhealthy dining room, dirty and full of mold everywhere, seemed to be falling apart! The courses almost always only consist of meat, so for us who don't eat it it was a real nuisance even though honestly we weren't even hungry looking around. Just pancakes every day. On a positive note, the juice extractor, too bad, a wonderful tool that is practically never found in hotels but in the midst of all that dirt it seemed like a joke. The staff always annoyed and listless with the phone ALWAYS in hand.... everywhere, no one did anything except a poor gardener who seemed to be the only one working. 3 of us to redo the room or rather the bed, period. We rented the scooter, which was expensive by Thai standards, and it even ran out of petrol! Honestly, the structure would have incredible potential both for the location and for the quality of the bungalows that have been renovated, but the service is truly indecent, you can see the lack of trained and competent people in running the structure which seems abandoned to itself, a real shame! The landscapes are fabulous but the structures of the island, this one in our case, seemed decidedly overpriced in terms of quality/price ratio. I would return just for the location but if I found better I would change immediately!

Our choice of this resort is the result of a painstaking analysis of all possible information about the island of Koh Kood. The end of August - beginning of September is considered the low season here, there are storms, so the closed bay is the first factor.Relatively convenient accessibility within the island is factor number two. The main road is paved, the section of dirt road is quite small, about a hundred meters.Lack of rivers flowing into the sea. Clean sea water.Lack of housing, fishing piers and boats. No trash. Silence.Decent service. Daily cleaning - just hang a sign on the door and the bungalow will be put in order; water and toilet paper are distributed daily. The bungalow is newly renovated, the interior is in order, the plumbing and air conditioning are in good working order.Cafe at the resort with a standard set of dishes for Thailand and affordable prices, a rich buffet in the morning. The cafe staff tries to do everything quickly and accurately, and they do it well. The sea is clean, the sand is pleasant, there are no grasses or living creatures, except for small crabs. The shore is very flat, the waves are shallow. There are strong swells with a westerly wind, but even with them you can swim if you go further beyond the surf. The water is a pleasant temperature, not cloyingly warm, like on some beaches, but refreshing.Horror stories about mosquitoes and sand fleas were not confirmed. One mosquito was spotted in five days. The monkeys weren't a problem either; they say they live in the forest nearby. What you should be wary of are coconuts - we saw several fallen ones, so you shouldn’t sit under palm trees in the wind.In general, our expectation coincided with reality, what we paid for was what we got. Silence, peace, normal service and... the sea. There is no special entertainment; partygoers will feel uncomfortable here. You can rent a bike for 300 baht, but we didn’t dare ride on the narrow winding roads, so we didn’t use the service. There are kayaks for rent; if the sea is calm, you can use them to swim around the bay. Also, before entering, there is a rental point for water equipment, where for modest money you can rent snorkels, masks, fins and even suits - it’s not for everyone.A few hundred meters away on the central road there are small shops, a warehouse market for locals - you can buy fruit there, a couple of cafes and a pizzeria with a chef from Italy (it was closed, we didn’t find out how it works).

Absolute haven for those looking for quiet and beautiful sceneries. The rooms are comfy but you won't spend much there. You'd better enjoy the beautiful bay with so much to see undersea. The restaurant is delicious and the staff super kind. You can also borrow kayaks and paddles for an hour everyday. Time flew far too quickly tbh. Thanks everyone for a beautiful stay in amazing koh kood.

The location is very good. Located at Bang Bao Beach, clean room, lovely staff.ZoneA room is next to the sea, sea view, really beautiful view, even if we go in August, rainy season.Breakfast is enough. For dinner, ordered the Tom Yum Kung soup and it was delicious. But it's stuck in one way.Zone A room, I really love it, but it's just stuck. Why do you have to make a level floor from the door to the bed? Because when you sleep, if you turn off the lights Then got up and went to the bathroom. If you miss it, you could fall and get hurt because it's quite high. and the bathroom water flows gently

No matter which bungalow you book, they are all close to the beach. The beach is wonderful and much larger in the morning than in the evening, as the water covers almost the entire sandy beach. Reception friendly and helpful. Renting a scooter for 24 hours only costs 300 baht, and you will need it. Because I wouldn't recommend anyone to go on foot. Simply because there is only 1 street and no sidewalk and it has a gradient of 9% or more.
