The Shantaa Resort Koh Kood is an exceptional resort. We expected a lot, but we didn't think it would be so perfect.When we arrived, we were lovingly greeted with cold lemongrass tea. From that point on we felt very welcome and safe throughout our stay. The resort is beautifully designed. All guests live in small bungalows. Great care was taken to ensure that the accommodations are sufficiently distanced from each other so that the neighbors do not disturb each other.Most accommodations have a wonderful view of the sea. When you sit on the balcony you can only hear the sound of the sea and the wind in the coconut trees.The hotel complex is beautifully designed and kept in great condition. I have rarely seen such a well-maintained infrastructure in a hotel in Thailand. I unconditionally recommend the resort to anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and seclusion of the island.

Best food and breakfast on the island for us. Amazing taste and selection. Very friendly staff @ all times.What we didn't like was the fact that it wasn't possible to swim in the sea during our 3 days due to very low tide, but that's not the hotel's fault. Unfortunately, we didn't find the massages on site very good or relaxing.The resort garden and rooms are great, we stayed at Shantaa Villa and loved the room, the outdoor coconut shower and the view from the terrace of our villa. We will definitely come back!

This would be one of the best resorts I have stayed in, fantastic value for money, best staff, food that was amazing. If you want to get away from the crowds and really relax this resort is the place to go. The island is laidback and not overly busy, no jetskis, noisy advertising. The rooms are fantastic. I'd go back here tomorrow.

The attitude of the service staff is very good and makes people feel comfortable. To the south of the hotel, there is a mini beach and a large pier. The water quality is very good. The only drawback is that the sand is not very fine. There is a large beach just beyond the pier. It is a public beach with a wide view. It is relatively close to the main road. The environment, sanitation, service, catering quality and other details of this family-managed hotel have been achieved to the extreme.

Super great hotel, we stayed here with the family in your hotel.The rooms were very nice, the beds with linens were very comfortable.Great open bathroom with outside shower.The swimming pool was very clean and well maintained. Toys were provided for the children.Breakfast is included in the price.Very great range of food and drinks.The service was first class, everyone was very friendly and helpful.Very well maintained facility with many beautiful details.Price-performance ratio is appropriate.Beach within walking distance in 3 minutes.We were here on the beach at the end of July, it was a clean and beautiful beach + sea.We will definitely recommend you.

I had the privilege to stay at this magnificent resort. Friends gifted me the stay, as they really wanted me to experience what they have multiple times in the past. You cannot find a fault in any way possible. Immaculate gardens, beautiful helpful gentle staff, amazing hands on professional management, incredible villas/rooms, generous well maintained facilities (pool is sensational). But let's not forget the food. Quite frankly the most delicious and authentic Thai I have had in 20 years. Just superb.

It is a very good place to stay on Koh Kood. I'm having a bit of trouble booking accommodation. But in the end he was rescued. It is a clean hotel, beautiful view, delicious food and good service.

We stayed here for 4 nights.Although it was raining all the time because of the season, we still had a great time.Reception was excellent and helpful. There was a night we ordered delivery of pizza&pasta, the receptionist helped us to make a call for the order.The breakfast is the highlight!!! It’s not buffet but it’s probably the best breakfast I had in hotels I stayed in Thailand.I woke up everyday looked forward to the breakfast!!When I was looking for the hotel in Koh Kood, so many comments are criticizing the breakfast in other hotels so I was very glad Shanta does such a great job!!We stayed in Shanta Sweet, hot water is good and stable. The only thing I wish they can improve in the room was probably the nest. They can put it with the door.They don’t have a huge beach area but there’s a bigger one with 5 min walking distance so I wasn’t complaining.The pool is spacious and huge.We also rent a scooter for few hours, 1 hr costs 80 baht and 4 hours/a day costs 300 baht.If you’re looking for where to stay in Koh Kood, you need to stay here! Because of their great food, great breakfast and the tranquility of the accommodation.It gives the feeling that this is the only resort on the island.

20-22 July 2024Clean place to stay Extensive territory No matter what rate you book accommodation. It still feels private. Very suitable for relaxing.The food is diverse, delicious, and the price compared to other places on the island is not expensive.As for breakfast, it is made to order. Everything is delicious, especially the banana pancake.There are many relaxation corners. You can swim next to the deep sea pier bridge. Or you can walk under the bridge to play in front of Taphao Beach. Not crowded, beautiful, peacefulNot far from other tourist spots. You can rent a motorbike from the accommodation.This time it rained all the time. I rarely go anywhere. But I still feel it was worth it. Maybe because I was impressed here.We see sincerity in caring for customers.It is another place that even if you travel far, But I intend to go back again when I have the opportunity.

Very high quality hotel with impeccable service from reception until our departure. The site is vast and allows you to benefit from a lot of privacy, even with family, with all the services you could hope for: swimming pool, spa, scooter rental, taxi, loan of books, canoes, games.The rooms are comfortable with quality bedding.The à la carte breakfast is made to order and very varied, in addition to being served at will.Despite the gloomy weather, we had an excellent stay in this hotel which is certainly one of the best in Koh Kood.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all deliciousStaff are friendlyLocation - I usually travel by motorcycle, so it doesn't seem to matter if I'm in Kokkotnae.But no matter what, the beaches and restaurants are among the highest in Kokkot.The swimming pool is large. Other large tubes are available and snorkeling equipment can be used for free.Motorcycles cost 300 baht, and for other trips, you can use the reception at the resort.The cafe inside is also pretty. I will use this resort again if I come with my family.
