Come back to use the service again.The accommodation has been newly renovated and is much more beautiful.But it's still quiet, not chaotic, perfect for relaxing and having activities ready to finish everything in this place.including cafes, food, exercise, marine activitiesThe air conditioned room is cool and the water flows strong.Friendly staff, good service, attentive and friendly conversation.I will recommend and tell people I know to stay here in the future.

The rooms are great, they actually have a style with a loving touch which can be rare in Thailand.The restaurant is one of the few places in Thailand where you could get healthy western modern cuisine that's tasty. It's like Melbourne or Bali.The location is literal beachfront and an awesome abandoned resort is 10 min away.10/10.

Positives: Beautiful beach (however rocky on low tide), great vibe, nice rooms, good smoothies, standard food, many yoga classes and nice outdoor gym.Negative: poor service quality (e.g., we had to clean up our own tables, had to pay extra for a slice of bread, weren’t given cutlery etc) - in general I wouldn’t expect western service level but in combination with the pricing level, this feels off. Prices are c.2x everywhere else on Koh Chang - if prices are that high, I expect better trained staff.I still recommend the hotel but would advise to eat outside as often as possible (e.g., Pipin coffee is fabulous, I do I do (right next door) is also great).

However, after all the great reviews, I was very disappointed on site.The hillside location is not well suited for families with children.The food was beautifully prepared, but unfortunately quite expensive for Thailand (an additional slice of bread was charged extra). Beach very rocky, not suitable for swimming and not well maintained.For me 3 stars.

The accommodation is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The café offers good food, mainly western, but is relatively expensive.Unfortunately, the beach is not very suitable for swimming because of the stones, but you can rent a scooter and go to other beaches that are not far away.Overall we were still very satisfied :)

Great boho hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms nicely furnished and very large. Restaurant lovingly designed and all dishes are TOP quality and taste. Price very ok for the performance. I think the All Day Breakfast is great because you only take what you want and don't have to go to the buffet again and again because it's free anyway.Unfortunately the beach is very rocky (large stones). Bathing shoes strongly recommended. Unfortunately very small at high tide. All in all, a clear recommendation to switch off.

Did not stay at the hotel but went there for the restaurant. The menu looked great (more pricy than other places but you might get food that is western style/imported).It is quite a “hipster Instagram place” with lots of love for the details. However I saw a few cockroaches. I know we are in the jungle but being in Thailand for 3,5 weeks now it’s the first time I’ve seen some.What I want to rate is my order. I had an iced chai latte which was super watery and almost tasteless. 110 THB for that and I wasn’t satisfied.All I could taste was pepper or something that tasted like it.Staff looked a little grumpy..

I can highly recommend the Indie Beach. The food is excellent, some of the best I've had on the island, but not cheap.Unfortunately, I have to deduct a few points because the bathroom smells a bit bad and the beach is not suitable for swimming. However, you can walk to a very nice beach in about 7 minutes, which is highly recommended.All in all, very close to the 5 stars.

Nice place, came for dinner. I ordered a bowl with homemade falafel, beans, mango, rice and herbs in sauce. The best falafel I've ever eaten... it's like a shell, so hard on the outside that it's hard to cut, and so soft on the inside, the perfect combination of spices. In general, the place is attractive - its own beach, a restaurant with good cuisine, judging by the photos - very good rooms.

The ladies from the staff are nice, but the guys were rude.In the house for three people there was only one bed and one duvet and online two pillows.You had to pay extra for extra ones.As proof, a photo of a three-person bungalow with one bed, two pillows, one duvet for three people. Ridiculous.Very little resort, everything is cramped, the houses are close to each other and you can see when somebody takes a shower when you walk through the resort (incredible but is a true 😱😱😱).Plus are restaurant and dishes. Especially the way the dishes are served.Perfect smoothies 👌Indie Beach is not a cheap resort. Butyou still have to pay 300 BTH per hour if you want to use sup. Btw. sups are old and broken and you can't even get the oars. But you still have to pay to it if you use them.It seems to be a standard in the south of Ko Chang that everyone tries to scam you and extra money from you.Apart from that, prices are higher than in the north of the island but they offer nothing attractive in return.
