Super nice resort right on the beach. The location is simply brilliant if you are looking for seclusion and peace. Many palm trees and other plants are planted in front of the individual bungalows. You have a fantastic view from the room of the plants and the sea behind them. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Fresh fruit and new bottles of water were brought to us every day. There were beach towels and great wooden sun loungers. The beds are comfortable and there is even an insect net attached over the bed. I would recommend the resort to everyone and come back at any time. However, since it is very remote, having your own rental car is recommended.

Good room next to the beach My daughter really enjoyed playing in the sea. And thank you to the auntie maid who was very welcoming and even shared some fish curry for us to taste.

We spent three nights at Bangbao Beach Resort and had a wonderful stay. The staff, especially the caretaker lady, was incredibly nice, attentive, and helpful, always respecting our privacy. We wanted to extend our stay but couldn't get a discount due to management's policies. Despite this, we loved the place and recommend it for its excellent staff and beautiful location.

What makes these bungalows so charming is their location on the beach.Our host was very kind.Only small downside, towels and beach towels which have lived very well and a kettle in the bungalow would be a plus.

Nice bungalows with AC, fan and mosquito net, I' d say a bit larger than average, located directly on one of the most remote beaches of Koh Chang. Large trees grow all the way to the water edge giving shade while relaxing on the chaise lounge. Swimming is a bit limited at low tide. Restaurants and bars are adjacent, but just about everything closes at 9 pm ;-)

A beautiful beach unfolds as soon as you open the door.The beach and surrounding scenery are beautiful, but there are not many customers.When I entered the room, something happened.They told me to pay extra because the room price was wrongly raised.I was asked to pay an additional fee in addition to the deposit of 1000 baht.I paid the total cost of 1510 baht on Trip.com and received a confirmed reservation.I argued over asking to cancel my room, but ended up being able to check in without additional charge, but I felt quite bad.The air conditioner is not cool, and there is no refrigerator in the room.You must use the shared refrigerator at the reception.

We only used the beach area. This costs 100 Bath per person, for non-residents. Beautiful beach with loungers with good cushions and garden chairs and 1 soft drink for everyone. Very nice employees.

We were very unhappy about a kind of border blackmail type with us, by this resort's very RUDE staff. She run after us and SHOUTED 50 baht. We parked our scooter outside, and walked back to it from the beach. There was no signs that we would have to pay 50 baht for our scooter's parking. Either barriers into it. They set up the trap. This brings us the bad pictures of Koh Chang & Bangbao._____________(This kind of rude, aggressive behaviour is not common in Thailand, as we experienced while three times travelled through out Thailand in 2011, 2022, 2023 & 2024, Thailand & the Thais themselves are more far wonderful & kinder than what I can say)

Perfect resort right on the beach on Koh Chang.The bungalow is very well equipped. Fan and air conditioning. The staff is super nice and helpful. Restaurants are within walking distance. You can't party on this side of the island, but you can absolutely relax. We would come here again at any time.

Bangbao Beach Resort is a wonderful place to do nothing, everything works, good beds, good A/C and fan, very nice beach at low tide and everyone who works here tries to make it nice. If a lot of seaweed sometimes washes up, it is swept up as quickly as possible to avoid sandflies. Right next door is the Bamboo Hut where you can have a wonderful breakfast, eat and drink... pure relaxation!
