Stayed here last summer with a friend. Rooms aren’t great, some staff are friendly, but others are insanely rude and unpleasant. They’re late to reception in the mornings, so if you need to check out to catch a ferry, best of luck to you because they definitely don’t care about your time or comfort. You’re required to deposit your passport which is obviously very uncomfortable for the guests. Judging by the business’s replies on HostelWorld, they are more concerned with giving excuses rather than actually improving their service and facilities.There are sooo many options for lodging for similar prices on the island, and your money would be better spent anywhere but here.

Stayed in rehab hostel for 3 with nights with two friends travelling for a holiday. ideal location located 2 minutes from beach, centrally located and within a minute walk of a 24/7 shop. Great spot for a quiet nights sleep but also has a balcony overlooking the street which is a nice touch for having a few beers or meeting other travellers.Overall a very welcoming spot with lovely staff. When we arrived we were greeted by Peenam, who helped us settle in and who made our stay so much fun that we had to extend our stay an extra night.I would definitely recommend staying in this hostel to anyone that’s good at connect 4 (free shots if you beat peenam)

What a brilliant hostel. Nam was brilliant and lit up the room when she came in. What a great time we had here would definitely recommend. She is also beautiful!!!

One of the worst hostels I've ever been in. The toilets were very dirty. The rooms were just completely run down right at reception. There was no balcony as actually stated.The bathrooms were dirty and in the dorm there weren't even curtains on the upper beds and only broken ones on the lower ones. The air conditioning was directly above our upper bunk bed, which is why you can't actually sleep there.Really just a disappointment.The only good thing was the location.We cannot recommend anyone to stay there.

Would not recommend. Really dirty rooms. Some of my clothes were stolen. I believe that it is from the doors being open during the day so that the staff can clean and such. This leads to everyone getting access to the room even if they are not a guest. I understand that this is not the hostels fault but rather the people who are stealing. However when I spoke to the reception about this they were really mean and unpleasant about this. I did not want any money back or nothing. I just wanted to tell them about this so that it doesn’t happen to other guests but their treatment was so bad that I started to cry…

Excellent location - staff are very friendly and helpful - great if you want the party seen but then a quiet nights sleep.Boat party is really fun great way to explore maya bay and snorkelling spots. And to make friends and socialise.

We had a great time, were always able to chill with the people from the hostel in the evenings and had cheap alcohol. Price-performance ratio is very good for Koh phi phi, as everything here is very expensive. If you want to have a cool time and comfortable beds, this is the place for you! Regarding the beds, the lower ones have curtains and all beds have a socket and light on the bed👍🏻

Amazing location, 3 minute walk from the beach parties so sleeping is ideal. Frong, jess and Kathie are amazing hosts always up for a night out. Can't recommend more for a stay in phi phi.

The location is perfect, everything in the island is in walkable distance from here.However, the hostel is pretty basic with small privacy curtains that doesn't give you any privacy, not so comfortable beds, lockers with no inbuilt locks.Also, since this is a party hostel please be prepared getting disturbed by some random drunk person in the middle of the night sometimes.The staffs were polite and helpful arranging ferry tickets and cabs.But the unacceptable part is they take your passport as deposit.

It's a party hostel, so don't expect much. It's too expensive for little comfort. You can spend 1-2 nights there. I wouldn't stay any longer.It is very close to the beach clubs.In the 4 bed dorm there were only curtains at the bottom.I wanted to check out at 8:30 am. There was no one at the reception yet. Only after a call and 15 minutes was someone there.

Surely its point of strength is the location. For the rest yes, small prices small comforts. But I've been traveling around Thailand for almost a month and this is the only hotel where I've lost things and even worse, two strange men have entered our room in the middle of the night while I and the other three girls were sleeping (at about 4 o'clock). /5 in the morning) which scared us a lot and didn't completely ruin our sleep. There are no common spaces and they don't let you pay by card (considering the number of people they receive every day, I find it unacceptable).
