The place is magnificent and calm, the swimming pool and the lake are very beautiful, but unfortunately tarnished by the aging of the bungalows and the restaurant is not up to the standard of the place.... the sheets are not changed every day, the minibars are not are also not filled despite a request to reception 2 days previously, the clean linens (towels and sheets) are stained and the bungalows (at least ours) are aging (damp stains, damaged sofa) etc.... too bad it would have deserved a 5 star without these little problems

Okay experience. They aren’t accommodating at all. We went for breakfast at 7.25 AM and they didn’t let us eat saying it will start at 7.30 AM. They have kayaking inside but there’s nobody to guide us for this.. its completely DIY. Would recommend rather staying near the beach as this hotel is far off and isolated

The hotel is nice, although quite expensive. It is located in a secluded but at the same time quiet area. The rooms look good from afar, when you look at them there are certain details that need polishing. The service is friendly, the breakfast is good (250 bahts). I recommend renting a motorcycle to get around.They could take care of it a little more, especially the rooms. But the price is fair.

A very quiet and excellent resort for those looking for peace and quiet away from the noise. The room is excellent and has a panoramic view of the lake. The hotel staff is always smiling and very helpful. The rooms are in a circular shape on the lake. There are monkeys that are sometimes annoying. Other than that, it is a beautiful resort.

The resort was the most welcoming place I’ve been in I cannot thank the staff enough. The bedrooms are big and have great amenities. There is an hourly shuttle bus that drops you outside so nang markets! I would definitely come again thank you!

The beautiful place, the magnificent resort, the excellent location, the unbeatable service, the very good food, at a super competitive price. The only bad thing is that there are wild monkeys that make your life impossible throughout the resort. They steal from you if they can, they are very aggressive, they bother you everywhere and the staff does what they can. I don't think I would return for this reason.

The surrondings are very beautiful, most of the staff were lovely, the food is of varying quality. The monkeys are fun to watch, but Im not sure selling fishfood is the best ideas with these around. Everytime your neighbours are feeding the fish you have to avoid the balconies as the monkeys surronds it. The shuttle was a great addition due to the location. The airconditioning is not great and you can hear your neighbours very well. The rooms are a bit outdated and there are still masking tape from the last paint job, as well as some kind of insect nest in the roof. The sellingpoint for this place would be the surrondings and that its close to nature in good and bad. The view from the balcony is beautiful and you can spot water monitors as they swim by. Overall great for a few days if you love wildlife.

Hotel located in the middle of nature among animals except WHEN THE STAFF MAKES THE MONKEYS FLEE BY SHOOTING THEM WITH A SLING…ASHAMED !!!We had booked 4 nights and stayed at the lodge for 2 nights.Our room was infested with ants even after cleaning.Uncomfortable bedding and dirty room.Leaking...

We were able to stay 6 nights in this wonderful resort. Away from busy Ao Nang, yet easily accessible by the resort's shuttle bus. Rooms are cleaned every day. Beds are very comfortable and the shower is fine. However, a new shower hose and rod would not be an unnecessary luxury. This looked rusted and that can be prevented by replacing it. That is our only point of criticism. The employees are all super friendly and helpful. The monkeys that live around the enclosure are also very nice to see. Even though this means you should not leave items unattended on your patio. In our opinion, Poosiri resort is wonderful and we will definitely return when we visit beautiful Krabi.

The hotel is incredible.The super friendly service, they help you with luggage, rent any excursion and provide you with buses to the center.It is only 10 minutes by car from the center but it is very quiet.The rooms are very clean.In the case of the monkeys we didn't have any problems, we only saw them in the morning from afar.

This is not a 4 star resort. We had a family room with a connecting door. The children's room was not good. The air conditioning did not work well and made a lot of noise in both rooms. The shower was also not hot. It was resolved quickly. But I think it should work just fine. Service is absolutely good! The monkeys at the resort are very entertaining! The pool is dirty with cloudy water and too hot. With the sea far away, this should be better. The breakfast is fine, but the food on the menu is mediocre. Overall maintenance must be improved here to meet the 4 star rating. I wouldn't book again.

Our honeymoon started off perfectly at this stunning hotel. We arrived very early in the morning and, although our room wasn’t ready because the hotel was fully booked, the front desk staff went above and beyond. They turned on the AC and made us feel at home in the game room and later in the cabanas while preparing our room.The breathtaking views, immaculate facilities, and sparkling clean pool exceeded our expectations. Every staff member greeted us with a smile, making our stay truly memorable. Special thanks to Anup, who helped us with our first rental bike. Although the rental experience wasn't ideal, the warmth and hospitality we experienced at the hotel made up for it.We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip and will definitely be returning next time we're in Krabi. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!.

Thailand is a friendly country and this place is no exception. We stayed for 6 days and the attention, the place is exceptional and although it is a little far away that did not seem like a problem to me. At the Resort they take you or pick you up every two hours and if you are in a hurry you hire a taxi that will take you or pick you up for 2 and a half euros.

It was a great experience. The staff is so sweet, they help you with everything! I had problems with the taxi, they called for me and resolved it. Super sweet. Smile works in the restaurant, he is also super friendly! Oh yeah, there are monkeys too!

My stay at Poonsiri Resort was a delightful escape into nature. Nestled among trees with mountains and a private lake nearby, the resort offered a peaceful retreat from the usual tourist spots. The bungalow I stayed in was comfortable and clean, with both AC and a fan to combat the Thai heat. I particularly loved the bathroom - the shower was fantastic! The balcony overlooking the lake was perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.While the room was cozy, I did notice a few small ants. The sofa bed was a bit firm for my liking, but it didn't detract much from the overall experience.The resort's grounds were beautifully laid out. I spent plenty of time lounging by the pool, which, although a tad warm, was still refreshing. The on-site restaurant surprised me with its delicious offerings.What really stood out was the staff's friendliness. They even shuttled me to the nearby 7-Eleven in a golf buggy - talk about service! Despite feeling secluded, I found it easy to explore. The resort's shuttle to Ao Nang beach and village every 2 hours was convenient, and when I wanted more flexibility, a taxi was only 200 baht.Oh, and the monkeys! They added a wild touch to the experience. Just remember to keep your doors locked! Overall, if you're looking for a tranquil stay that's still accessible to attractions, Poonsiri Resort hits the mark. It's not without minor quirks, but that's part of its charm. I'd definitely come back for another peaceful gateway.

Its a bit far from the city centre however they have a free shuttle bus but still there is no shops nearby the resort, The room was good and clean but we got 2 bedrooms and it has only one bathroom.

Lovely place to stay in Krabi; just a short tuk tuk ride to Ao Nang beach. The rooms are on a lake and all have balconies. Service was fabulous; a special mention to Smile, Nana and Fran. We had fun kayaking and feeding the fish in the lake. The daily visits from the monkeys was very entertaining! Food in the restaurant is delicious.

I really wanted to like the property but the private lake is algae colored and that's a bit of a dissapointment considering that is supposed to be the resort's USP.The rooms are nice and comfortable with good patios.The staff will warn you about the presence of monkeys in the property but will refuse to send a golf cart to get you to the lobby, funnily enough.I stayed here for 1 night before my return flight to India, can definitely recommend a short stay here, wouldn't want to bank on the kayaking and views.
