Checked in for one night for New Years Eve. Came back late, as one does on New Years, and the whole front door was locked shut and covered by one of those sliding metal gates. No way in, even though my stuff was inside. Couldn’t find a doorbell/intercom. So, I wasn’t actually able to stay the night, despite that being the main purpose of a hotel. I had to go to my friend’s place to wait until 6am, when it was open again.I believe the other reviews. Several times when I entered, women at the front would do their best to look angry and tell me I couldn’t stay there and turn me away until I showed them I already had a key. The man seemed to understand the situation more and be willing to communicate with Google Translate. What I had missed was they also expect you NOT to take the key with you, but rather leave the key at the front desk every time and use your ID to get it from them each time you come. (Of course, that too would only work if the whole place isn’t locked and barricaded like it apparently is at night)

Everything was terrible, they didn't give us breakfast and it was included in the price and those who served us were rude. We will not return nor recommend it.

Lousy hotel, old and dirty. The uncleaned rooms with remains of other guests were a bit disgusting. The staff is rude and unprofessional. I would never return to this hotel

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. HORRIBLE, AND THE OWNER IS RUDE.Tatty room, with a musty, dirty smell. The bathroom was stinking, there was an open toothpaste and a used toothbrush. We took the room through booking and it included breakfast, when we asked the owner about it, he said no, they did not offer breakfast. So we said correct that. Because we had paid for services, otherwise they should charge less. Well, the owner became a madman, saying that we should give him the passports or that we should pay now. When he told him that we were not giving him the passports, since we had already left them for him at check-in and they had all the information, he became aggressive saying for us to leave, until he kicked us out of the hotel in bad manners.I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, run away from here and avoid it.

Very bad experience, booked a 100% prepaid booking on traveloka but when I arrived I was told I did not receive the booking, even though a traveloka staff sent a confirmation with a direct chat asking the hotel staff to assist the guest in checking in, but they refused. decided not to let guests check in. Business does not respect customers

We did not stay in this hotel. We took a tour offered by the hotel.Very bad surprise, a nightmare, a hacked circuit with the Nhat Linh hotel in Sapa to do a so-called excursion.An excursion, with more free time than sightseeing. Tour with local guides taken for half a day.Over three days, two nights with the same hotel, and eating in the same hotel during both days with low-cost dishes. Transportation in a double berth, no separation.The return trip whether day or night, the bus is in a sleeper.A real nightmare. I do not recommend taking excursions with this hotel. A real scam! To flee.

I stayed at this hotel from 10 to 14 June 2020. Let's start with the advantages. Easy walk from bus stop 86 from the airport. Located in the old area. You will plunge into the real old Hanoi. Lake of the Returned Sword is a 10-minute walk away. Walking street is a couple of minutes walk. Friendly hosts who will offer their travel services at a reasonable price. Normal WiFiOf the minuses. The refrigerator did not work (I lived in two different double rooms), which is very important in conditions of +36 degrees.

Truly awful experienceWe arrived back at the hotel after a night in Hanoi to thr hysterical owner screaming and waving a paper at us. He was rabidly furious about a bad review someone else had written on trip advisor. We tried and tried to explain that the review wasnt even ours. Have fun stayig here if you want to be freaked out on and thrown out on the street at 1230 at night.

Very cheap, simple hotel. It's a family run business which leaves there. Rooms are ok, no breakfast. For the same price you can get a room with breakfast.
