Quiet, private, suitable for those who want to live on an island. There is a ferry going back and forth. Lipe according to free time Food in the resort is quite expensive. But the breakfast (included in the room price) is very good, delicious, lots of it.The room is a little old according to time. The light in the room is not very bright. But the air conditioner is very cool. The bathroom is ok, compared to being on an island it is considered good.The staff on the island give helpful advice.The disadvantage is that it is far from food sources. When you're hungry late at night I had to buy stock from Lipe.

my dad was supposed to go with his wife from 4 to 29 February 2024 but unfortunately he passed away due to a bad illness. Despite various cancellation communications we have NEVER managed to get our deposit refunded. We are still trying to contact someone via email but they are not responding|Not recommended

Amazing location for a peaceful time in the wilderness so to speak. Excellent cuisine and great service. Our trip was cut short by resort management due to change of ownership. A very pleasant Corporate company representative came to see us explaining everything and we were reimbursed for the days we lost. We were the only couple left on the resort the final evening and morning whilst staff were preparing the resort for new owners arrival the coming weekend, a phenomenal experience. We wish the new owners well with operations for the future 🧡

Quiet and comfortable stay at secluded Adang Island. The rooms are large, staff friendly and helpful, food not bad and pretty good value. Regular shuttle boat to take you back and forth to Ko Lipe for free.Highlights were hiking to the Pirate waterfall and the lookout at the top of the island with spectacular views.All-in-all very happy and would consider coming back in the future.

I advise you to NEVER stay in this place.Unfortunately, my husband and I did not read the recommendations listed here before. We went thinking it would be a space to enjoy the beach and relax but it wasn't like that. We stayed 4 nights and it was horrible.I don't know where to start...As a first impression, the place where the boat picks you up is an open field where there is nothing (worse when it is night). The maintenance of that boat must have been done for the last time 100 years ago because water literally enters the bottom and the vests are frayed and discolored, which shows that they were never changed.The “resort” (if you can call it that) is very run down and has no maintenance. The rooms are a shoe box, with humidity, the windows covered with towels, they do not have a minibar, the bed is very uncomfortable and the bathroom gets wet when bathing. It also has a shower with only cold water and another with only hot water, I don't know what logic they thought of so that of the two (which are separated) one can bathe with warm water.The only “good” thing is the pool.The place is full of RATS!!! and a lot of trash visible next to the kitchen. The worst thing is that it is the only place where one can buy food. But on top of that the prices they charge are 10% more expensive than in Koh Lipe.As I read in other comments, one feels imprisoned because there are only 3 times when the boat leaves for Koh Lipe and 4 to return where the last one is at 8 p.m. There is no way to go out if it is not during those hours.The staff is correct, not pleasant either, they speak and understand VERY little English so at times it is difficult to communicate.Anyway, the island is very nice to get to know because it is a National Park, so I recommend that you visit it on a tour, but staying anywhere on Koh Lipe and not in this place.I do not recommend it and would never return.

This place could be great but it’s not.Here’s a list of what went wrong during our 2 nights stay so you can manage your expectations going in or you can decide to book somewhere else.1 - The staff messed every single order we gave at the restaurant. Most cannot speak english or read their menu in thai. They’re friendly enough but it’s disappointing and frustrating since this is the only way to get food on the island. For example, once we waited for a fried rice for an hour and another time we ordered virgin mojito from the menu and they put rhum in it.2 - The island is beautiful and secluded. But the resort is lacking in making the most of it. No chairs on the beach. No clear hiking/walking path. The kayaks are very old and small, barely working really. There really isn’t much to do except relax and swim in the pool with the kids. So if you’re activity-oriented go somewhere else.3 - Rats everywhere near the restaurant, dog inside. I know this is a national park but still, rats running around while the staff messes up your food order, it’s a bit much.4 - Wifi is spotty and unreliable.5 - Like other comments detailed, very infrequent service to Koh Lipe which is shame since it’s so close.6 - You have to carry cash all the time even though you can’t leave the island because they don’t let you put two pepsi on the room.7 - No awareness of noise pollution. The tractor carrying trash or luggage passes you by all day ans it’s very loud. It’s really not as quiet as it could be which is a shame.8 - Food is very expensive compared to other islands and awful. I had the fish and chips and I was sick a few hours later… In my opinion this is the aspect that needs to be upgraded the most. It really tainted my stayIn conclusion the rooms are nice enough and it’s a good place to relax but I would avoid staying here.

Important!!! Please take care of the little four-legged friend that is running around there. Please bring him food from Koh Lipe and provide him with water. He's super nice and doesn't hurt anyone. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼Room: the temperature of the air conditioning could not be adjusted, and bathroom tiles were loose. Be careful if the floor is wet... no fridge. The pillows are uncomfortable and too high. Otherwise everything was very clean, you get water every day except the last one? I have no idea why… we always gave it to the dog anyway since he obviously doesn’t get anything… 3/5Complex: beautiful, quiet complex with a great pool. One of the best on our trip. There are rats🤮 and mice in the bushes. 4/5You can go hiking and go to a private waterfall. 5/5Breakfast: it was tasty but there wasn't much choice… 4/5Please don't give the dog pool water... wouldn't write about it if it didn't happen 😭

If you want peace, this is the ideal place with a nice pool. For a better beach, you need to go about a kilometer east to the campsite. My main complaint is that there is no fridge in the room.

A wonderful place to relax for people who value peace and quiet.A hotel at the end of the world in the middle of the jungle - no restaurants, pubs, shops :) Free daily transfer to Ko Lipe, where life is teeming. Omnipresent nature - lizards running around the resort. You can meet monkeys and squirrels. Apparently there are also snakes, but I haven't seen them. I recommend a viewpoint about 1 hour walk through the jungle - sneakers are enough. Free kayaks and snorkeling masks. Beautiful swimming pool

Beautiful island but...... we booked two rooms and one of them was so musty and smelled so strongly of moth balls and air freshener we couldn't stay in one of them. It was causing us to cough and making it hard to breath. When we mentioned the smell they tried to fix it with...... more air freshener. We are a family of four and when we asked to move to the family room they wanted to charge us more even though we wasted half a day dealing with the room condition and wouldn't simply move us into the vacant family room at the same price. They did move us to another room but it was half way across the resort. The place is clearly run down and in need of repairs as at least 5 of the units are not being used and have broken roofs. The doors don't seal properly and it's a good thing we had our own mosquitoe net because the room didn't have one. The windows were mouldy and it was very dusty. This place is very over priced for what you get considering the food is also pricey. We stayed in a hostel the night before and it was a 100 times nicer. The pool was nice but that was about it. Too bad as it's such a beautiful location. I wouldn't stay here again that's for sure.

The place is very secluded. For those looking for tranquility u will surely get it. Rooms r comfy however without a fridge. Clean n neat. There is only one restaurant at the island with limited options and not very thai style but mostly dedicated for american/European tourists. U have free boat rides to Koh Lipe few times a day which is a plus. The beach is pretty but missing su umbrellas. There are few sun beds but only 3 umbrellas which in my view is too little. There are lizards, monkeys and beautiful birds on the island. It is a blissful place but has its downsides.

We loved that this place was off the 'lipe' beaten path and managed to escape the noise for a few days. But to manage expectations, this isn't a 5 star resort. It is a basic resort, so don't expect luxury. We stayed in a deluxe garden room and it was very spacious and the bed was comfy but to reiterate, it is basic. I do think they could afford to update/improve a few things to make it feel slightly more premium given the price you pay and the expectations they set from their videos/website etc...e.g. The sunbeds are the cheap plastic ones, this is fairly easy to fix and would take the place up a notch. They have a whole area that could be great for beach massage/morning yoga that is currently very under utilised and feels like wasted space. Provide some toiletries? The food (for the most part) was surprisingly excellent, especially the Thai specialities - avoid the grill, expensive and lacked any grill flavour. We are lovers of the sea and snorkeling and unfortunately the sea right outside the hotel wasn't amazing for this, but it was relaxing to swim nonetheless. The low tide makes it hard to swim after lunch, so aim to swim in the morning! The service was good, all the staff were lovely and helpful. Overall we had a great time and would recommend just want to ensure people go in with the right expectations!

Cons.Full of RATS indeed at the restaurant. Discusting!! Rats running and scratching from the roof/ceiling of the room annoyed us so much and woke us up several times. Horrible!! I wouldn't come back here again at all for this reason. Rats are big and there are so many!!!!!Only 1-2 out of cir. 10 staffs can speak quite good English. Other 1-2 staffs can understand English, but not sufficient to give correct information every time. The rest of the staffs cannot speak English at all.Noise issue by the long boats and a tractors on the beach. The noise from the air conditioning outdoor box and a TV sound from neighbours are quite disturbing.Very high and uncomfortable pillows.Seweage smell in the bathroom and some areas of the resorts.Flies disturbing very much while eating.No sunset view from the beach unfortunately.The only restaurant option in the resort is quite pricy.Beach is okayish, but the other beach at Adang national park area is much better for snorkeling and sunset.Pros.Pool is nice.Not so crowded.Quite many options for food.Beach towels are provided.Nice hiking path.Staffs are generally friendly.
