We really liked the island and the beach! Unfortunately, the Corel Bay Resort really disappointed us. This was particularly due to the extremely unfriendly staff, who would rather sit on the guest loungers and look at their cell phones than do anything else. When you approach them to spend your hard-earned money (ordering something) you get a lot of bored and annoyed looks. Especially from the receptionist/waiter aka the manager's little sister.The room smelled of mold, there were ants everywhere, the food was poor, and the internet didn't work either!Unfortunately no place to feel comfortable. The two other families who were here also all left earlier than planned...

An ideal setting, unfortunately the team is not very pleasant. We had the impression of being disturbed with each request (for lunch, to rent scooters, etc.) which could be understandable if the hotel was full except we were almost the only ones.

So it wasn't our case. The bungalows are very simple and spartan, the huts are made of wood and have lots of open slots, which of course invite all sorts of insects, geckos and the like. The bathroom and also the bed were really unpleasant to use because of a lot of ants. We left after one night. The location is super secluded and quiet, the beach is very nice at high tide, but difficult to use at low tide. I recommend bringing bathing shoes. Kohjum itself and the staff were great! :-)

Very nice location right by the sea. It is very quiet and if you want to explore the island you should rent a scooter as taxis are quite expensive. The bungalows have everything you need. The breakfast and dinner are very tasty.

Coral Bay resort is on a northern beach, even quieter than most of Koh Jam and a bit more inaccessible .Theres some Aircon rooms but I chose fan only. Rooms are a decent size, and certainly my shower had hot water for shaving. Rooms were cleaned everyday, and the staff were friendly and trustworthy. Food was nothing special, but fine. There were more than a few families with children / babies in tow. It wasn't a 'bar' sort of place but other places on the beach, e.g. Peace Paradise, were friendly and laid back in an evening. I very much enjoyed my one week stay and can happily recommend it if you're the self sufficient type.

The best rest is to go out and take pictures---------------------Coral Bay Resort is a beachfront accommodation. Especially in the evening, the sunset is very beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, the staff are very nice. There are a variety of activities. If there is a long holiday We will meet again for sure.

One of the best resorts we ever had. We have been to Thailand several times, always booking a nice bungalow on an island. Standard fittings for this price class. A bed, a small bath including hot water shower and a fan. Nicely arranged. The Staff is extraordinary kind and helpful, not too intrusive as you experience in many other hotels. They don’t try to sell you stuff. Yet they arrange everything you ask for. Need a taxi boat? No problem. Motorbike? Here are the keys. The whole atmosphere makes you calm down. Booked transfer from Krabi Airport was smooth. The Longtail-Boat just dropped us off at the beach. While we enjoyed our lovely welcome drink they gave us the keys to our bungalow and explained everything we need to know. It is truly beautiful with flowers and palmtrees growing in the garden and also very clean. In the back you see the mountain of koh Jum. The resort has a nice beach, a little rocky, you need to be careful while swimming. But that sunset you get to enjoy makes up for the imperfect beach! There are a lot of cute geckos and cheeky monkeys around. Luckily the resort is guarded by two well behaved and friendly dogs who take care of the monkeys but also love to take a nap on the beach with you.About the island in general. Party people stay away. There is absolutely nothing to do besides watching the crabs crabbing around. The village is cute, the people are quite nice and seem to be happy to see you. But there is nothing more around. Coconut Beach is recommended. An easy 20min walk from Coral Bay resort. Also there are a few small bars at the beach close to the resort but do not expect any luxury facilities. To get to the village you need a motorbike. But Motorbike rides are fun on this beautiful island.Koh Jum might be the last „backpackers dream Island“.If you need a place to basically do nothing and calm down, I highly recommend Coral Bay resort. Oh, and don’t forget to try the banana pancake for breakfast!!

A very nice time, if you love peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. Excursions are possible from here. The bungalow with a sea view was great. The staff was nice, accommodating and completely satisfied, there was nothing to complain about.

Beautifully furnished bungalows, super nice and courteous staff. A scooter is almost a must have to explore the island. But it's available in the hotel for 250 baht. There are also enough loungers on the beach.

I have to admit I was very skeptical at first but after a few hours I start to love this place. I enjoy the peace and the simple life and am happy to have this experience and meet these really nice people

It depends on what you're looking for. There is no hustle and bustle, high life or tourist center here.Recover, relax, switch off and forget about time.Most of the accommodations are simply furnished but absolutely sufficient and nice, especially for the price!The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.If you don't have a contract with loving dogs, you should choose another accommodation, but my children found these dogs the best of the entire vacation. They accompany you on a walk on the beach and keep an eye on you.Unfortunately, the tide is low from morning to midday and you have to go out a little over rocky ground to be able to swim.You can rent a scooter and explore the island or book a day tour to Koh Phi Phi.We were there for three days, which in retrospect was too short.Happy to come back!

You can feel that covid took its toll. Some nearby resorts were shut down. Coral Bay provides you with simple, but nice bungalows. Standard for this part of the island. Rooms are cleaned every day, towels changed, new water bottles every day. Warm water from electric showers. Monkeys chasing above your heads. Nice and well behaved two dogs are chasing monkeys away :) owners are nice and helpful. Banana pancakes for breakfast are great. You can eat in, or go to nice restaurant near by up north. Beach is sandy and rocky. So good for swim or snorkeling. You can take a mopet for a day and go the city for decent rent. If you like quiet stays, no parties but chill - this is your place.

Generally a small, quiet island, with small, cute bungalows, one of which was this one. Very nice hosts, you can have inexpensive cooking around the clock. Papaya salad 80, fruit shake 80. Rooms are equipped with new towels every day and beds are tidied. Beach has a few stones, swimming is easier at high tide, but this is the case on almost the entire island. You can reach other parts of the beach on foot or by scooter from the accommodation for 250. Price/performance is great.

Coral bay has a beautiful beach, sandy and stony at the same time. For those who like snorkeling is a nice spot.I have seen several tropical fish and newborn coral!The rooms are very well cured in details and spotless clean. There are different offers for different budgets. There's a restaurant working all day that serves delicious food, Thai specialties are super tasty and not domesticated for farang's sake. Western food is very good as well, breakfasts are great and big.The service is super, everyone is nice, helpful and ready to support in any situation, expecially for travel organisations.Everyone has always a good mood and kind manner. There are also two very friendly dogs, peaceful and sweet that will follow you in your walk along the beach.Definitely worth going to relax and enjoy time.
