The female owner is very hostile. When I asked if I could take a look before asking about the cost of rent for a month, I was greeted with a very unfriendly and dismissive tone. The common areas are very nice with lots of vintage collections, but the rooms are very old and narrow. The location is good, but the price is expensive compared to the facilities!

Cheap rooms, small room sizes for people who like to stay private. The owner is very kind. The hotel is clean. The staff speak very well. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, suitable for young people on a small budget who want to visit Chiang Mai. The hotel area is easy to find, convenient to travel, next to Tha Phae Road, there are motorbikes for rent at an affordable price.

Rustic with an antique setting. The place is decorated with so much to look at it deserves a visit just to see it. Old Vespa scooters greet you at the entrance, not for rent but they do have newer scooters for that. And the hospitality is great with either bunny or cat ears (you’ll have to see them.)20 minutes or less of a walk will get you to pretty much anything you might want. Chinatown and day markets are 5ish depending on your pace, night bazaars are around the same time. Close to the Ping River, temples are everywhere and open to visitors, less than 15 minutes to Taephae Gate, the 13th century center of the city.Keep in mind rustic is rustic. The rooms start at 300 baht for one with a fan, a/c rooms available. Geckos sometimes come visit but that’s part of the experience in my opinion. There’s plenty of places for more money but I like this one!

Small hotel in its own right which accumulates small everyday Thai objects as decoration. It feels like you're walking into an antique store and it may well be that some items are for sale 😉It’s nice to put effort into the decor for a hotel that has low prices 🙃The rooms are small, but that adds to the character of this small hotel, and they are clean.1 bottle of water per person per day is free. The hotel's location is ideal, a stone's throw from the Night Bazaar and the Old Town. Really perfect for discovering the city. Also, the bus station is 45 minutes away on foot.Very good experience here during our stay 👍

We did not use the room and unable to comment. However I heard their rooms were full when I asked for directions.Just like to thank the Chinese couple at the counter for their warm hospitality. They cheerfully advised to take bolt cheaper and answered my enquiries. It was a terribly hot day without wind. After past the Waroros market, we were lost. This inn was the only nearby shelter with a nice bench outside. The interior was full of old toys and decor with seats for guests to chill.I was searching for a ride via bolt but a passerby tuk tuk started to harass us to board his tuk tuk at 200 thb to central festival. Then he reduced to 150 thb etc. We rejected him since no rush and had shelter.Luckily we were not chased out for resting at the inn bench without patronising. After few minutes we left via bolt car. My bolt costed only 75 thb. Thanks Tapae Inn!

The polished wooden floors in the rooms and hallways are very relaxing. The inside of the building is lined with antiques, making it feel like a museum. The staff also speak fluent English and are very kind. Wifi was also super fast.

The accommodation is close to tourist attractions both during the day and at night. We can walk to it. We Muslims can easily find food. The room price is very cheap. The decoration is in a retro style. I think that if I have the opportunity to travel again, this is a good choice.
