And so, the location of the hotel is quite close to the sea, but the sea (beach) is not suitable for swimming, dirty and even smelly at times.Let's walk around the hotel1) Towels, pillowcases, etc. are all stained. There were rare cases when a towel or sheet was without them.2) Ants, small reptiles that bite, are not scary of course, but cause discomfort, especially when you drop something on the tile and after a while there are hordes of these small insects, in the first 3 days they were generally in the bed, we managed to get rid of them in a simple way. having killed them all with a finger, but they live under the tiles and in the baseboards. I didn’t see any cockroaches, but I saw some rats near the hotel.3) The location of the hotel is the cornerstone, both a plus and a minus, mainly at night, since there is 0 sound insulation, and a little further there is a highway that connects 2 cities (or villages). You can constantly hear passing motorcyclists and their growling engines, which is very annoying. The hotel is located next to another hotel, right two to five meters away, and the windows look directly onto the windows of the neighbors, horror. But fortunately, at the time of our stay, this hotel was without guests.4) Point follows from point 3, if you are accommodated on the side facing a neighboring hotel, then these are air conditioning units, they are so noisy, and also add motorcyclists constantly passing...5) Air conditioning, oh yes this is such a blessing, but...How is it installed in the room... Almost directly above the bed, which is fundamentally wrong, because of which I even caught a cold; without air conditioning it is generally impossible to sleep at night.6) Hard and rather high pillows, at first this is not very noticeable, but due to the height of the pillow and its rigidity, the neck constantly becomes stiff, as a result of pain in the back of the head, the last 3 days have been torture, it is impossible to sleep normally, the neck hurts, the head is splitting, constant noise, and before leaving I managed to sleep only 3 hours. After which, at 7 in the morning, I was woken up by this harsh hum of these fans and that’s it, there can be no further talk of any sleep.7) The pool is, well, for a solid unit. The tiles are all cracked, chipped off somewhere, it’s not safe to walk around the pool, all the seams are somehow sharp, and the tiles themselves are small, which is why there are a lot of seams. The sun loungers are all full of holes, so it’s time to throw them out. There is nothing else there, the Indians were building something like a mini bar, apparently for the season, but there was nothing else there. Well, after a couple of days, the water from the pool was completely drained, which was a surprise, and it was not refilled until the end of our vacation. But judging by the tiles that lie there now, apparently they will somehow restore it.8) Balcony, good space for smoking, but, again, due to the fact that they dump the garbage in one place and do not immediately take it out, there is a wild stench.9) This is an important plus, there is a cafe da.no1 not far away, an amazing place and not expensive, there is Russian cuisine. Almost everything is 100 baht.

Hotel for two. A run-down hotel 15 minutes from the beach, next to a large market and many cafes. If you just need to spend the night and you are not picky, then you can spend the night. …

There could be a little confusion between Chana Phuket Hotel and the next door Star Hotel, (as I booked to stay in Star, but technically I had to go to the nearby Chana Hotel building), but overall I have to say that it was an excellent stay. Hotel staff is nice and helpful. Speaks English. I extended our stay and downgraded to a 1step smaller room-setup, but the management offered me to stay in my (bigger) Deluxe room and not to pay any extra which was really nice of them!2 cons: The pool on the top is in bad condition , no one's using it. And the wifi needs some upgrade too👍

I stayed at Chana Phuket Hotel, and it's definitely not a 3-star hotel. The staff is unfriendly, rarely smiling, and seems unwilling to assist. Late at night, they often play billiards in the lobby, creating noise audible in the rooms. Cleaning is a concern; they use old, dirty cloths, leaving an unpleasant odor. The facilities are outdated, poorly maintained, and barely functional. The mattresses and pillows are uncomfortably hard. After showering, the floor remains wet due to a poorly fixed showerhead. Negotiating with the cleaning staff was necessary for bedding changes, even when the room was not cleaned the previous day, and sand was found on the bed.

They do not provide lunch boxes if you leave before 8 am, and all excursions are naturally earlier. Linen and towels may be stained, even for 3☆ this is not surprising. They can clean up the same way. A cockroach (and they are a little smaller than a horse) that fell in an unequal battle with my slipper lay outside the door for a long time until I showed it to the cleaning lady. She's a very nice girl though. Well, ants lived throughout the room and in the dining room. If you have a phobia about this, then the hotel is not for you. The food is satisfactory. In general, level 3 with a minus.

Numbers are ok. Cleaning every day. On the day of departure at 6 am, looking for someone from the reception to rent out the room and return the $100 deposit, I went into the dining room where I saw a huge rat running by!!! Chess word
