It's a good place. The staff is helpful and kind.Rooms are nice. If it would have a small fridge, i would have given it 6stars πThere is sound from the bars around. But you chose to be in the center of Kuta.Close to the beach. Many nice shops if you like shopping.The room has a working toilet and shower and water is normal (not hot but it's hot enough outside π)Small openings in the apartment are secured against mosquitos.I booked for 2 nights and I wanted to stay longer but fully booked.Thanks staff π

Very bad & very disrespectful. We came all the way tired. We had booked a room but only came in the morning. NOT TO CHECK IN because it was still early.Just make an appointment with someone to rent a motorbike. and the cellphone is dead and the battery is dead and just going to the toilet and charging the cellphone is not permitted.Even though the cellphone is for communication with the motorbike owner. Our plan was to make an appointment with the motorbike owner there because the motorbike owner needed & had to know our accommodation, because that was a requirement for renting a motorbike, so we gave him the address of the accommodation that we had booked. And we wanted to go for a ride on the motorbike while waiting for check-in time to arrive.But their treatment is very bad and disrespectful to guests.They are one family, all rude.Both fathers, mothers and children... especially their parents.They didn't even pay attention to us who were outside alone, looked away and even their father and mother grumbled.We knew the rules for checking in to the hotel, we just wanted to ride, charge our cellphones and go to the toilet to pee at that time.But they are very impolite towards guests.This is the first time in my life that I have encountered accommodation services like this.Luckily I was able to cancel the room reservation.This accommodation is very bad

Bad accommodation.. it was 9.30pm when we wanted to check in and we were kicked out because we weren't allowed to bring children.. OK, my fault.. maybe I missed reading the description.. but there's no need to be rude.. treating guests like trash who are refused to sleep ... talking impolitely and looking away into the house... a woman tried to talk nicely to us, but her mother (meaning her mother) shouted from inside asking the woman to come in and not serve us, then the terrace was left dark while we were still there there confused.. with a big suitcase and a tired child.. thank goodness we walked a little to the left of this inn.. we got a hotel that was much better, cleaner, with swimming pool facilities, laundry service and extraordinary family friendliness. Very helpful and a solution... I hope Homestay Cempaka 2 goes bankrupt quickly... poor local accommodation who are serious about managing their accommodation. Worried that tourists think Kuta residents are all that arrogant...
