The hostel has serious problems with insects in their mattresses and pillows. It's horrible. All the mattresses are stained with fungus from the humidity and infested with insects that come out while you are sleeping. The cleanliness of the hostel was terrible. It was noticeable that no one cleaned the rooms, bathrooms, or common areas. The walls were all stained, as were the bed sheets. That's why the first day I had to sleep on the balcony and then leave for another hostel in the morning. The money was not refunded to me. In any case, even if they paid me, I wouldn't stay the night in that hostel. I'm sorry but the photos don't match at all when you enter the hostel

Almost 1h30 we wait.Enough time to observe the DISASTROUS state of this hostel.How is it still possible for him to stay open? No idea.My friend and I booked two beds in this hostel for a total of 3 nights. I can guarantee you that we won't spend another second there. The reception hasn't been dusted for probably a whole year. The kitchen upstairs? Likewise. But the worst: the showers and the rooms. Mold, stains, dead cockroaches on the floor, cobwebs, bedbugs and questionable beds to say the least.The images speak for themselves.And to add a little more? An outdoor swimming pool advertised on booking as non-existent, a breakfast service which also does not seem to exist and an owner who does not seem to want to take care of his establishment and his customers.RUN AWAY

Terrible customer serviceRoom was unti and stinkyI payed breakfast included And I didn’t get any breakfastNo staff member aroundA guy was smoking in the share room and I tried find someone in the reception to report but no body aroundI arrived for checking and the staff haven’t finished my bed yet he haven’t change the sheets and also he never asked me for my passport or IDNo toilet paper in the toiletIm not recommending this place at all not very safe for travellers

I tried staying here this evening. I showed up a bit early but wasn't expecting to be able to check in until 2 pm. Luckily, they let me in at 1:40 after I'd be waiting for over 2 hours. The public bathrooms were disgusting. When I checked into my room, the beds were filled with dirt and hair. I had my pick of 4 "clean" beds, and none of the sheets or pillow cases were changed. The room smelled horrible. I went to ask reception for new sheets, but he was gone for an hour. I was tired of waiting, so I left. I wanted a refund. But keep my 65k. I'd rather lose that than be in that hostel tonight.

The location was great, but didn’t see much of staff at all… people would come to check in at all hours of the day while I was there with no way to reach anyone. They would get a lot more business if they had front desk staff during the day.

The worst hostel i ever seen in bali. When you arrive nobody is there you have to wait 20minutes. Then its so dirty specialy in the bathrom its insane really there much more better to stay in Ubud at the same price. And forget the breakfast, its just à joke.

Booked it 11am . When i arrived FormMy Long Flight Trip with Baggage. Nobody availible. They Said the room will be clean at 2pm.Canceld it. Until Today no reply, no refund . No Go 👎🏽 i can NOT recoment it .

Best budget stay in Ubud. Yes, it is self-service. The owner is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Store just below for snacks and such. Location cannot be beat.

I stayed here a full 2 weeks for my whole Bali trip. The Owner Made is a Solid guy. There is water and a refrigerator upstairs that is open to the guest. Very happy with the stay here! His parents own a store below the hostel that has everything you need, also his Brother in Law Hostel(Legas Hostel) is right down the road where you are welcome to go swimming in their pool!

We checked out again after we saw the beds. Both of our beds were full of blood and hair - obviously they hadn't been cleaned. I know it's very cheap but the beds need to be cleaned. The staff was very friendly and refunded everything - one star for the staff there.
