If I could leave 0 stars I would. Rude staff who lie asleep during the day. The shared room was empty (probably because no one else wants to stay in this dump) and as soon as you enter you are blasted with the revolting stench of black mould. The pillows - covered with mould. The mattresses - covered with mould. The bedsheets - riddled with male liquid stains. After just 10 minutes in the room our lungs began to hurt and it became difficult to breathe properly due to the sheer density of black mould in the air. I would highly suggest that YOU DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to be riddled with sickness, treated like an ungrateful child, or genuinely want to have the worst time of your life. Another point was that the location was quite far out of Canggu. I cannot even say that the price was worth it. Thus we checked out the same day and had a wonderful time at Castaway Hostel.

the location is great. The private rooms are a bit noisy, due to the karaoke bar around the corner and the main road traffic. Everything is close by: warung, ATM, Supermarket, bar, restos, doctor, Scooter Rental, even laundry. the beds in the dorms are very comfortable and spacious. locker usage requires your own lock, but you can buy one in the supermarket next to the warung. unfortunately I don´t feel comfortable with the vibes of the place anymore, too untended, bathroom and equipment in bad condition (broken doors, leaking roof, dirty kitchen, blackout at nighttime), only one of the staff sympathetic, the other rude and making me feel unwelcome. Regularly drunken people messing around. last year it was a wonderful place to stay, but now it is different. it had great potential.

Everything you could want from a hostel. Great beds, they have a little pool and pool table. Kitchen and fridge. Clearly lot of work put on to make the place look really well.

Worst hostel ever, Staff very rude, Not Safe, Not Welcomed, Not Recommended at all.. only one guy working here called Dani he is worker, he is staff, he is manager also. I made reservation for 3 nights. When i come there he told me i need to change room for last night because he promised my room to a different lady. I didnt want to change the room. When you make 3 nights reservation you cant ask hosts to change the room. Then he told me then leave this property you are not welcome here we dont want you. He was always talking me aggresively and yelling me to go away. I said let me think what i will do and he said no just go away. Ruding my stay i felt very unsafe, i was always thinking if this guy entered my room and damaged my stuff. Thanks to Rhiannon and Mohammed they helped me to solve this problem but still i dont want anyone to live this awful experience. Owner of the hostel should but socially capable person as a manager to this hostel.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and the service is amazing. Dani who was running the place is simply the kindest guy and the rooms are nice with aircondition and own bathrooms. There is also a great pool, pooltable and a kitchen with basic supplies. Great experience!

Stayed here couple times whenever I came to Bali (to Canggu). The location was just perfect, walking distance to almost everything you need.The room was clean, tidy and comfy.Buana, Mo, Krabby. They were the staff there and made it feels like home. They were so helpful for the advice to do around Bali, even for the food!Definitely would go back here again when I'll be back in Bali.Keep the good work, champs!

I stayed 4 nights here. 1st night in a room other than the one I had reserved outside the guest house. After complaining, they changed my room the next day. Very poorly isolated place, you have the impression of living with your neighbors. Children who scream in the morning. No soap or toilet paper in the bathroom. Towels and sheets not changed. The price is small but now I understand why. I do not recommend this place if you want to rest.
