Unfortunately this is my first 1* review for a hotel 🏨. I've stayed in about 20 hotels in Chiang mai and over 100 hotels in Thailand.I booked this hotel and when I tried to check in they said there was a pricing error and could not honor the price I already paid online. I was surprised because they had to "confirm" my booking. (My booking wasn't immediately confirmed)I find this reasoning absurd because had I overpaid for the night I can guarantee you 100% they would not have refunded me any amount for my overpayment if another guest got a cheaper rate than me.If you read the other 1* reviews they are very concerned with money 🤑 💰 and will try to squeeze every dollar 💵 from you.If I arrived straight from the airport tired 😩 😴 with all my luggage 🧳 I would have probably reluctantly paid the difference. But thankfully I was already in Chiang mai and was able to search alternative optionsThe lady at the desk said it was 3500 baht per night booking directly at the hotel. The manager on the phone said it's 3900 baht per night, but all the online travel websites showed a much lower price than what was mentioned. They acted like they were doing me a favor by still charging me a higher rate than I had already paid. They said they would offer me a special rate of 2000 baht for the pricing error but online it still showed a lower rate.Overall I would never stay at this hotel even if they offered a free night due to the poor handling of the situation and the shady pricing tactics. Please double check there is no pricing error before check-in.

They have very little empathy with the customer. We have booked several nights at this hotel and by mistake we have added one more night. After kindly requesting a refund for one night, they rejected our request.

The only downside is that it is not very quiet, there is a school next door and during the week forget about sleeping after 7 in the morning. In addition to the noise from the interior patio. The soundproofing fails.

Great hotel in very good location, close to everything in Chiang Mai. Super attentive and friendly service. There was even some noise at the beginning of the night, we called the reception and they solved it very quickly. They always put the client's well-being first. The breakfast is amazing, for the extra price, it is VERY worth it. If we return to Chiang Mai, this will be our hotel

The terrace and swimming pool are both good and very comfortable. You can watch Netflix on the TV, and the hotel account is already logged in, which is very convenient. The curly-haired guy on duty at night was friendly, helpful and spoke very good English. The room is a bit small and the windows in the room are also very small. I think the design of the room is a bit unreasonable. The sink is inexplicably large with no space reserved for things, and there is no shelf for toiletries in the shower room. These details made me feel inconvenient and a little annoyed when I was washing, putting on makeup and doing my hair.As for the location, it's in an alley so it's relatively quiet. The only problem is that taking a taxi will lead you to another entrance of the alley. There is nothing there at night, which is a bit scary.

What a wonderful hotel! The location is quiet in the old part of the city and close to everything. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff so incredibly friendly. There is also a play room in the hotel with books and games for small children. Very useful when traveling as a family. The swimming pool is also great and is located right next to the breakfast room. Children can take a dip straight after breakfast. I can recommend this hotel to everyone and we would book here again when we are in Chiangmai.
