Arapan Ubud

The worst accommodation of our life. The worst treatment and scam. Apparently in the photos it is a beautiful villa. First, it is totally far from everything, with nothing nearby at all (eat, supermarket...) When you get there, first of all, it does not have any access to get to the villa, but rather a dirt road where 3 rabid dogs attack you every time you want to go out. The villa is completely deteriorated and with a natural pool that is a pool of moss and tadpoles, please do not bathe there as an infection will be little to catch. First, no door closes, they have about two fingers of space because they are broken. A place with so many animals should have an airtight seal to sleep in. Then they put a mosquito net on the bed, which is not a mosquito net either, it is a curtain where everything enters. We wanted to stay 3 nights there. After not being able to sleep at all the first night, due to all the animals that were constantly coming in, we decided to leave first thing the next day. We spent exactly 9 hours in the accommodation. But since they charge you the first day for the entire stay, then they said that they would not refund us the money for the other days that we were not going to stay, we gave them several options including a percentage or something, so as not to have to go to the police, since in their exchange and refund policy, they only say that they keep 20%. The treatment towards us was degrading after showing them the conditions in which they left us the villa, and without any solution from the company. We do not recommend this site to anyone, and even less the company Manggala Bali, from here a couple very disappointed with these scammers.

Service is impeccable. Friendly staff, responsive host. We requested a romantic dinner for our anniversary and they did not disappoint. Although we are their first romantic service, they did their best and made our day extra special.Free drinks upon arrival.Manage expectations since bathroom is open, lots of insects might fly around (Bees, butterflies, snails, spiders, etc.). Pool is natural flowing so expect natural dirt, and no television. Loved that they have all coffee needs.What you see in photos is what you get. All in all, great place for relaxing.

if you’re looking for a spacious villa, with a natural swimming pool in the middle of Ubud away from the traffic and in the middle of nature Arapan is the place to be!!its a 20 mns drive to the center of ubud and close to so many tourist attractions max 15-20 mns on average to all the attractionsthey have the best staff available 24/7, and a food service with great food and huge varietythe breakfast is also super nice and served to your roomthe room is huge and clean and has all that you may think of!they organize also on demand (occasions surprises, with decorations, cake and everything you need)honestly we loved our stay here and we would recommend it, and definitely come back soon😍

Andika, Sinta and Govin were very lovely during our whole stay. They gave us a warm welcome with drinks and a towel to cool ourselves down. The food, service etc was also amazing. We would highly recommend this stay.

A nature-friendly place!I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but this is a place you won't regret.You can contact us right away via WhatsApp.After checking in, I stayed at the hotel and my eyes and mind were healed. It's nice to hear the sound of rain in the eveningHowever, if you are a poor person, you will get rid of it.The accommodation is full of glass, so it's hot during the day, but there's an air conditioner and fan, so it takes some time, but it's worth it.Recommended if you want to relax completely

We had an absolutely wonderful 4.5 retreat here after a busy period. Jayax and his team did an amazing job taking care of everything for us -- from cleaning the place, to saving our stuff from the rain while we were gone and changing towels, to renting a scooter, as well as getting us dinner while it was pouring so much that no delivery driver was willing to make their way out.The natural pool is the perfect temperature. Amazing to hang out in at any time of the day and night. The salamanders and frogs are lovely to observe and an attest to the water quality. Of course, there are mosquitos everywhere, but Jayax even had some lemongrass cream prepared (not-super-effective at repelling but smells great).The place itself is finished off with incredible attention to detail. A perfect combination of tradition and modern utilities, as well as of nature and comfort. Loved being immersed in greenery and listening to the insects and frogs.While we were there, they were even improving the cooling systems of the villas and updated the airconditioning. Which seems to have been in response to previous feedback from guests.We hope the future guests take great care of this gem, such that we can come back whenever we're visiting relatives or showing friends around. Thank you!

It was so beautiful that exclamations of admiration poured in as soon as the door opened. I was told that there was a possibility of encountering frogs and snails as it was a private, untreated swimming pool, and while I was looking out at the balcony in the evening, I came across a cute frog! As the name suggests, it's a place where you can experience eco, and it's one of those places that I wish I could go to instead of becoming more famous.
