I came here because of the beautiful views and the pool. When we arrived, we were horrified by how old and unkempt the hotel was. Apparently the renovation was done about 30 years ago. The rooms are huge, the ceilings are high, there are tons of paintings hanging everywhere in the room, even in the bathroom. Add to this the smell of dampness and the smell of poorly dried bed linen (or maybe not even washed). The curtains on the windows and the canopy on the bed are something, covered in dead mosquitoes and bugs. It was completely uncomfortable to sleep. Even the scent that we bought specially didn’t help. For the first time in my life I saw such a huge gecko, which climbed into our room, usually they are small and white, but here they are 30 cm and green! The pool is clean, but the old tiles have turned yellow over time and are peeling off in places. The only thing we liked was the fully equipped kitchen (each room has its own kitchen) with everything you need, a huge refrigerator and a beautiful view of the jungle. There is even a path down to the river, but apparently no one has gone down there for a long time, since everything is terribly overgrown with grass. The owner is a good person, you can rent a bike on the spot. There is even a huge red iguana and a blenny.

This is simply a work of art! The rooms are very unusual, paintings, beautiful objects.Quiet, gorgeous view of the tropical bushes, shared kitchen, terrace with a gorgeous view and a clean pool.There are a couple of cafes nearby, you can order delivery.

If you like the jungle atmosphere with a magnificent view, this guest house is for you. The owners are very welcoming. We will come back to this.

Perfect location for visiting Ubud and its surroundings!Welcoming host and taking care of scooter rentals if necessary.We took the room facing the jungle, at the bottom of the accommodation, it was very good.Obviously small inhabitants can come because we are in the middle of the jungle!The bathroom is ok, a little updating could be done but it is totally usable as is.Thank you to the host for this lovely setting in the middle of nature.

We have had such a lovely time at Christian his place. He gave us many tips about the area and things to do. THe guest house is so pretty, you can sit here for hours just to watch at the nature. Furthermore, it was also possible to rent a motor cycle which was great because in this way we could see may places.
