Our recent stay at the Hideaway Village in Ubud was a mix of beauty and disappointment. We were thrilled by the photos of a bungalow surrounded by a peaceful nature. However, upon arriving, we quickly realized that the reality didn’t match the promise. As we arrived, we were surprised to see a construction site directly next to us. The description had mentioned the possible noise from 9am, but the next morning we were woken up before 7am by the construction.It felt like the “Hideaway” was anything but hidden, with the presence of workers just a few feet away. It made enjoying our terrace and pool uncomfortable. The communication with our contact point was even more disappointing. He offered us another bungalow two rooms away, but it shared the same view of the construction site. After an hour call, he concluded that there were no alternative options, no gesture, and no refund possible for the inconvenience.I usually don't complain, only if needed, but I have never had such an inefficient and careless costumer service.The bungalow was beautiful, but the construction noise and lack of privacy were disappointing. For the price, we expected a peaceful retreat, not early wake-ups from heavy machinery. Hideaway Village has potential but Ubud offers better, hidden, and more quiet bungalows for this price. It is not worth the 7am wake up noises and lack of privacy...

Really enjoyed our stay. Staf was really friendly and ready to help you at all times. Room was great and swimming pool was clean. They are still under construction for a part of the place but this hasn’t bothered us. Though the hideaway part was not a lie, we found no problem getting taxis or food to our room. Special thanks to Ari and Pande for their hospitality.

The staff are very helpful and will help you with your luggage. They will remind you of breakfast the night before and deliver it to your room the next day.room and pool super clean, Pande as a host so nice help me everything

Relaxing rooms with a beautiful bathroom and a huge pool. The only con is that it was still new so there were no amenities.. no breakfast, spa, gym or shuttle services.

Everything was excellent and unique. The experience is so great, in contact with the nature it was so relaxing. The room and design is the best. So comfortable and high quality. It was a memorable moment. Thank you to Ari and all the staff.
