I absolutely loved my time at IBC Hotel.Situated in Dongdaemun which is the fashion district of Seoul - there are so many shopping places nearby that are open till 5am! There's also the stunning Cheonggyecheon Stream literally on the right side as you come out of the main entrance of the hotel. Would recommend getting a pouch drink from of the 3 convince stores next to the hotel and talking a walk to Cheonggyecheon on an evening. Also if you come out of the main entrance of the hotel and take a left and walk down for 7 mins there's an Olive Young! Would recommend getting Naver/ Kakao maps to navigate your way through the country and download Kakao Taxi to get cheaper Taxi prices it's very convince as Taxi drivers will pick you up absolutely ANYHWHERE!For my fellow Muslims who have paid for breakfast at the hotel - there is cereal, egg, bibimbap (just don't have the meat as its not halal), juices, tea/ coffee and toast and croissants that you can eat!The rooms are lovely - I stayed with my brother and the room was a decent size for the two of us. You are provided with gowns, slippers, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, towels and a hair combs! The hotel is a 30min bus ride from Myeongdong - it's a good location to stay in as it's not too far from all Seongsu, hongdae, Itaewon, Namdaemun etc. But locations like Seongsu and Hongdae will take you longer to get to. There aren't as many halal food places nearby this hotel however, we still managed and the convience store (CU) down the road sold halal indomie noodles which came in handy some days! Plenty of halal food options around Seoul and some halal Indian food places near the hotel - check Korehalal on IG as they have a map of all the halal food options and prayer rooms around Seoul which is very useful! The staff at the hotel were very friendly as if we had any issues or we needed anything the would sort it out right away! They also provide irons and ironing boards - just ask at reception. Not all staff have the best English and may not understand you so it helps to use PapaGo to translate! Also there is a 7/11 at the bottom of the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel also provides you with 2 water bottles each day which was a nice touch. The rooms are cleaned everyday - not the best 5 star cleaning as they don't clean all areas however it was overall pretty clean during our stay and we had a lovely time. The beds are comfortable and there's a TV in the room so you can watch Kdramas whilst getting ready! Also, every Sunday there is a Flea market which I got some very cheap designer items from! The Flea market is literally outside the hotel - you can't miss it. It runs along the right side of the hotel and opposite the road where the Flea market sign is. It goes on for miles around the area and there's people selling all sorts. If you love vintage fashion and designer clothes definitely check this out as I found some great designer pieces and some lovely jewellery and watches.Overall I'd rate this hotel a 5/5 - breakfast options were great, hotel staff were lovely, the rooms were spacious enough and clean and overall in a great location with loads to do around the area!

The cost performance was good and the environment was nice.It was also nice that there was an E-mart nearby. However, the fact that there are no escalators or elevators at the nearest station is a bit of a problem.*It was difficult to carry the suitcase. However, I wanted to stay the night again. There was also a local bus stop nearby. It's kind of convenient.

Location a little "away" from the center (near Dongdaemun) with the special feature that there is a 7-Eleven right downstairs in the hotel.|The rooms are modern & clean. …

Due to the rainy season, other activities are limited, so I stayed for a night for a change of pace at the IBC Hotel, which is convenient to travel to and from the city center. While staying in Korea, I sometimes stay at a hotel near my parents' house, and IBC has clean facilities and good room conditions. It's a good hotel to quietly read a book and drink tea occasionally. There are a variety of food options nearby, and Twosome and Jiho Oriental Medicine Samgyetang are conveniently located on the first floor.I am grateful that there is a cost-effective hotel nearby. 5 stars because the facilities are so clean^^

On the first day I moved in, I found that there was a lot of dust. There were also traces on the toilet seat from unknown users who had not cleaned it. I even washed the toilet myself. People who care about cleanliness really do not recommend this place.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and was very satisfied. Even room cleaning staffs were very friendly to us.I don't know what people expect on its price... but in my standard, for this price level, including breakfast, gym, and daily room making, they did their job away above standard.I usually don't ask any thing to reception however when we asked to store our baggage 3 hours before check in time, they helped us well without any complaints. And I don't think it is fair to give one star review because hotel couldn't offer humifier.... even 5 star hotels surly can not support that always...Judgment upto you! In my opinion, for this price it was worthy of staying.+ the hotel is extremely quite during nigh time. So if you are sound sensitive like me it is super plus points.Only minus was my room smelled a little weird like swimming pool(cl).
