Worst experienceI made my reservation via Agoda (I advise against it because it is impossible to retrieve the phone numbers or videos via messaging). So I didn't have all the information to check in independently. I arrive at 1 a.m. unable to find the place. Fortunately I managed to get a response from the host after an hour of trying. I finally get to my bed. But this dear gentleman was not happy with my late arrival (even though he had been informed of my reservation) and the fact that I called him in the middle of the night. It was therefore without any shame that he canceled my reservation and asked me to find new accommodation the next day. Very unprofessional and I have never seen such an unpleasant host with no understanding of the problem

[Good points] Great location! It is close to Hongdae Station and there are many restaurants around. On the day of my stay, I was sent a video with instructions on how to get to the guesthouse and a password, so I was able to get there safely even if I arrived late at night.Washing machine and dryer available at 1000w (from 9:00 to 21:00)[Not so good] Although the room is kept clean, the shower and toilet smell like sewage. There were a lot of cockroaches in the communal kitchen at night and it was very scary. I don't feel like eating breakfast made in an unsanitary kitchen even if it's free.

It is recommended that people who want to book this room please look for other places to stay!My friend and I booked this accommodation through Booking.com. When we wanted to check in on the first day, we couldn’t contact the landlord. He didn’t reply after sending messages. Even when we asked local Koreans to call him, he didn’t answer. We tried every possible method. After going through (KakaoTalk/Line/Booking), I still couldn’t contact the landlord, so my friend and I could only spend one night at the jjimjilbang:) Finally, when he replied to the message, it was already 12 a.m. pm, we have already rested at the steam room a few kilometers away. What does it mean to tell us that we can check in at this time? The next day we went to the accommodation according to the method he gave us, but it turned out that the address and room password were wrong. This was really nothing like this. We later found the right place and room on our own. We also reported to the landlord that we failed to check in on the first day, but his attitude was that he gave us the password, and it was us who failed to check in later, and it was not his problem. It’s not like this to bully tourists if you don’t criticize yourself at all==Because this happened, our subsequent itinerary was directly disrupted. It was really a bad experience. If I could, I really wouldn't give it even one star. I advise everyone who wants to live here to really think twice, otherwise it may happen that they have paid but have no place to live. ^^

I initially booked accommodation for April 27 through booking and didn’t notice that re-confirm was required. However, on the day of check-in on April 27, I saw a reminder message from the landlord who responded immediately and apologized for not re-confirming, and indeed informed us. We will check in today, and the landlord responded immediately that it was OK.But when we arrived at the booking address, we found that there was no counter on site, and the landlord didn’t give us the room password. He didn’t answer his phone calls, and he didn’t reply when we sent messages. We asked local Koreans to help us contact us. We tried all the contact methods he provided above ( line, whatsapp, kakaotalk, Korean number), the landlord did not respond, so my friend and I paid but had no place to stay, so we had to sleep in a steam room. Later, the landlord finally came back, but it was already 12 o'clock in the morning:) We had already rested at the steam room some distance away, and it was 12 o'clock in the morning when he told me that we could check in, right? ? The next day we went to the accommodation according to the method he gave us, but it turned out that the address and room password were wrong. This was really nothing like this. We later found the right place and room on our own. We also reported to the landlord that we failed to check in on the first day, but his attitude was that he gave us the password and we failed to check in later, so it was not his problem. Because this happened, our subsequent itinerary was directly disrupted. It was really a bad experience. I hope everyone can avoid lightning and don’t have to pay money but have no room to sleep==

I am 22 and did a solo trip to Seoul and this was a great place to stay. Very cheap and it’s such a cozy place. I payed $70 CAD for 4 nights which would be like less than 1 night somewhere in Canada. So I’d say pretty worth it. I stayed in the women’s dorm with 2 bunk beds and everyone was very respectful. There’s privacy curtains so it feels like you have your own place. The house has everything you need and it’s in such a great location with a night market right by and lots of places to eat. House was a little messy but that’s because there are lots of women with their luggage so not a big deal. Everything was contactless checkin I just texted the boss when I got there and told him what bed I chose which was nice and convenient. I saw some negative reviews before coming but I’m assuming those people just had higher expectations. I don’t mind a little mess and everything not being perfect. This isn’t a fancy hotel so if your just looking for a nice place to crash while you explore it’s great. Overall would definitely recommend, and will be staying here again if I’m back in seoul.

The location is the main advantage of this place. The second huge plus is the excellent pressure of hot water, which allows you to wash with pleasure. The rooms are modest, corresponding to the price requested for them. The lack of sound insulation is compensated by transport accessibility and location
