I thought the explanation on the homepage was difficult to understand.I felt that the building was a few years old, but it seems that the baths will be renovated, so I think this is a hotel that is doing its best on Iriomote Island.

I purposely chose the more expensive plan that included breakfast.I understand that in the case of a typhoon, employees won't be working, so they won't be able to provide breakfast, but I'm protesting that even in that case, I won't be refunded. One meal costs 1,870 yen, and if food cannot be served for three days due to a typhoon, it will cost about 5,500 yen.Failure to provide a refund even though the contract has not been fulfilled can only be described as embezzlement. For now, let's evaluate the preliminary version. I don't know what the typhoon will actually be like, but it's definitely something to see.

24/9As always.A bathing tax is now required.Even though it's an eco-friendly stay, since it's a hotel, I'd like you to clean the room once every two days, even if you have to pay for it.There will be no food available in the surrounding area, and dinner at the hotel will be gone, so you will be left with no choice but to eat dinner, so please look for dinner in advance.22/9The food is delicious. Are drinks expensive? If it's something like this.I would like to relax with wine if possible, so I wish there were more options.I saw Morofuku at the supermarket outside. It was double the amount, so it was very conscientious.22/9/29This is my first visit in 2 years.I think the food was a little off.--------20/10There is no problem with customer service. On the contrary, it's good.Breakfast is no longer a buffet due to covid, but this one was highly rated by us.If you can go to a hot spring, you should.Although it is a simple spring, it is quite slippery.

Relaxing and quiet location. You can hardly pass each other by other customers.I stayed in a cottage, and although it was a bit old, it was clean. However, due to location, insects will inevitably appear both indoors and outdoors.I hate insects, but for some reason it doesn't bother me, probably because of the nature of Iriomote. By the way, when I left the premises and walked around the neighborhood, I saw a cute snake. There is a coin laundry, but it's semi-outdoor so it's not shiny and clean, but it served its purpose so it's ok.I also took advantage of the hot springs, but the view was a little disappointing with only trees, but it was great to soak in the bath while listening to the voices of insects and birds and the sound of the waves. There were so many geckos on the window at night and it was so cute.Although we used it in May, there were almost no insects in the hot springs. The hot spring building is very beautiful. The good thing about this hostel is the breakfast! The view is great and the taste is satisfying. The menu has a lineup that will make you think you've come to Iriomote.Drinks, of course. I enjoyed having some tea that I didn't know about.Since the number of rooms is limited, we were able to eat comfortably even during the busy season.

There are also hot springs in the mountains. There's no bar, soSince it is a remote island, ingredients are limited, so it can't be helped, but I would like the number of items at the shop to be increased a little more. Instant is fine. There are only outside activities, but I thought it would be nice to be able to use the bath after using them.

The room on the 3rd floor of the main building and the breakfast are good.I decided to stay in the main building after reading a review that some cottages do not have a sea view. The result was a very correct answer! !The main building has a front desk and lobby on the first floor, a dining room on the second floor, and guest rooms on the third floor, with only stairs. It's true that it's a hassle to go up to the third floor with a carry-on, but the view is great, and you can even see Hateruma Island across the ocean. The room was also large and very clean.I was a little disappointed with the hot springs; the quality of the hot springs was completely unremarkable, and the open-air baths were so thick with trees that you couldn't see the sea, which was a bit of a disappointment for a hot spring located at the southernmost tip of Japan. However, the breakfast, which is served piping hot in the form of a set menu, is centered around local cuisine, with elegant flavors, and the lady at the front desk's simple and laid-back customer service really makes you feel like you've come to a remote island. It was done.By the way, some reviews said that the dinner was difficult, so after checking in this time, we went to a local restaurant near Ohara Port, and it was truly the best. However, I heard at the front desk that there are no night taxis, drivers, or transportation to and from the hotel at night on this island, so I drove there, left my car at the store, and asked the store staff to drop me off on the way back. After breakfast, I took the first bus to pick up my car. It's a bit of a challenge, but it was quite a journey to get on the first empty route bus from the southernmost bus stop in Japan. The bus stop is about a 5 minute walk from the inn, so even if you don't have a car, you can still enjoy the island from this inn.
