Hote Nest Iriomote

3-room hotel but each room is big. Very clean and comfortable with all the modern amenities - mini fridge, kettle, coffee/tea, safe, shower/tub combo, toilet/bidet plus space to hang your clothes inside and outside. Lounge chairs outside by the pool. And sagaribana plant right outside by the front door. This only blooms from June 20-July 20 and only at night and then the fragrant blooms drop by 5 or 6am.Hotel is owned by Nao and Reiko, our very friendly and accommodating hosts. Booked all our tours with Nao via his Osanpo Kibun. Reiko dropped us off at the port on our way back to Ishigaki.We intentionally went at the end of June to see the sagaribana blossoms floating in the river. That early morning trip was magical and unforgettable.Highly recommend staying at Nest Iriomote. Also highly recommend that you book dinners at least 2 weeks before arrival as restaurants get booked up during busy season.

Modernly furnished, good breakfast, great service, bus stop is right outside the door. The accommodation is perfect.

I really liked the atmosphere, it was stylish and relaxing ❗️ This is a hotel I would like to stay at again if I go to Iriomote Island ❤️ The staff and the dogs and cats were cute too.

The owner and everyone else are very nice people, making it a very comfortable stay.

A very small [3 rooms] but absolutely fantastic high end b&b on iriomote Island. Large rooms with huge beds [double king] giving on a small terrace and swimming pool. A small jacuzzi and sauna tent also. Air con and all modern amenities in the rooms. Washing machine available after a sweaty day in the jungle. Fantastic breakfast prepared from scratch everyday by the owners really delicious..... A number of restaurants within walking distance. Perfect for a laid back, stay. Last but not least the owners are incredibly nice, helpful and friendly....many 5 star hotels could learn from them what service means.

Used in May 2023.This time, NEST, which I had been interested in for a long time, was just open, so I stayed there for 5 nights.I come to Iriomote Island often, and I think this is the most fashionable space on Iriomote Island!The items placed in the rooms and cafe space are also fashionable and have a good taste.All the staff are kind and helpful.There is also a friendly big white dog, and this dog is so cute! !Breakfast is the best!I stayed for 5 nights, and the food was different each time, alternating between Western and Japanese food, and it was really delicious every day!It looked and tasted great and I looked forward to breakfast every morning!For dinner, there are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so going out for dinner will not be a problem.Unarizaki Park, a starry sky spot, is also within walking distance, so after dinner, I looked at the stars at Unarizaki Park and took a walk before returning to the hotel.There is a washing machine but no dryer.There is a rope on the terrace of the room where you can hang your laundry to dry.When I came back from the tour, I washed it and hung it to dry, and it was dry the next day.Even without a dryer, it wasn't an inconvenience.Detergent is available near the washing machine for 100 yen each.Beach (pool) towels were also provided in the room, which was convenient when going on a tour.There are only 3 rooms, so it's hard to get a reservation during the peak season, but it's a hotel I'd like to come back to again!

A fantastic place to stay. Our room was immaculately clean and very spacious. The owners were fantastic and so friendly and helpful. As it was our honeymoon, they had left us a free bottle of fizz for us when we arrived which was really appreciated. They also booked evening meals at local restaurants for us (all of which were fantastic) and organised for a half-day kayaking tour for us which was very good. They also gave us a free lift back to the ferry port at the end of our stay.We had a brilliant and very relaxing time staying at Nest and would happily recommend it to anyone. The owners really went out of their way to help make our stay enjoyable and we can't thank them enough.
