Stay Hotel (Stäy Hotel)

Although it is a small hotel, it is warm. The beach is right next to you, like a private beach. However, when I went, the water was cloudy probably because it was after a typhoon. When I looked into it, it seems that the sea on this island itself is not originally very transparent. However, the atmosphere is outstanding. Our room was on the first floor and did not have a sea view, but I think you can see the sea from the upper floors. However, since it's on the ground floor, you can easily walk out the window onto the beach. It seems that there are few hotels in Okinawa that are close to the beach, so this is a valuable option. It seems that the foreign husband's Japanese is not perfect. I chose this hotel because the owner had done some DIY renovations, so I chose this hotel because I wanted to learn more about it. When you go there, the taste is outstanding. I was shocked that we, as Japanese people, could not compete with them. However, there are some parts that are a little sketchy, and the cord on the ceiling is like that? The good thing about Okinawa is that you don't have to worry about the small things. The room smells like wood, not cedar or cypress, but something I've never smelled before. I will. I think it's probably the smell of the wood used around the bed, but what kind of wood is this? I have a more sensitive nose than most people, so it took me a while to get used to this scent. I don't think anyone else has mentioned it, so I don't think it's something to worry about. Of course, my partner didn't feel it at all either. The bath was very nice and spacious, but I was confused about how to get the hot water out. yeah? Which is the hot water tap? I kept turning on the water and waiting for hot water to come out. The water in Okinawa is said to be warm, and hot water faucets produce colder water. Broken broken broken? Before you panic, let's make sure to check... It seems like you can have a BBQ on the first floor, but I wasn't sure where or how much to ask for it, so I gave up. Preparing the charcoal, cleaning up the stove, and using scrubbing brushes, detergent, and simanchu are all easy tasks, but it was a difficult task for travelers. Anyway, it was a nice hotel.

The room is very comfortable and the decoration is very stylishEspecially the balcony looks out to the sea and a private beach.There is an attached parking lot at the door of the B&B.It’s dark when you go back at night, so you need to be careful.

Perfect stay

Great place to stay! The space is clean and we loved the bathroom so much - it’s very edgy and comfortable.There’re also free snorkels and snorkelling masks and also quick access to the beach behind the hotel. Owners are extremely nice as well.Highly recommend!

A great stay and refreshing to see Swedish inspired interiors in a Japanese hotel. Direct access to the beach and snorkelling equipments and bicycles are free to use!

I quite enjoyed my stay. Here is why:1-very clean and stylish Sweden x Japanese decor. I noticed comment writes carpet is dusty, though I sneezed once or twice, but no dust is seen at all.2- friendly couples host recommended good place for snorkelling3-easy to find place and free parking4-tranquil place and good view.Only thing to me is the curtain too light, city girl not used to wake up to natural sunrise hahaha.

Double sea view room, the owner of the B&B is a handsome Swede 🇸🇪 who can talk in EnglishThe bathroom is bigger than the room😂, there is a bathtub for taking a bathRoom equipment: hairdryer, bathtub, dressing table, microwave, small refrigerator(A small pity: there may be more plants planted nearby, and flying insects were seen in the room and on the bed)In the morning, I was awakened by the soft sunshine. When I opened the curtains, I saw a super beautiful sea view, which was a big plus👍You can walk to the beach from the trail behind the B&B. It’s great to take a walk on the beach in the morning 👍Driving from the city at night, there were very few street lights along the road and the road was dark. I drove to the point where I doubted myself, but at least I could reach the B&B by following the navigation🤣

We chose this hotel so we could easily visit Kouri island the next morning. It was a right choice as we could get there early and evade the crowd. Didn't get to interact with the owners much as we arrived late and left early, but they were very efficient in handling our check-in and showing us our room.Pros:- Stylish design with cool furniture- Near Kouri island and the Aquarium- Free parking- Clean room- Access to beach at the back of the hotel- The bed faces the sea to the East, we could see the sunrise there :)Cons:- Only the very essential amenities provided (as expected as this is a family-run business)- The bed was too small for my partner, he had a bad night's sleep because he could not stretch his legs while sleeping :(- The hotel is quite out of the way, so only consider it if you're driving
