Pros:- Location was perfect it was close to all the shopping and food places. 10 minutes or less walking distance. It was, however, a little further from the Osaka station.- Service - The service was excellent. The manager/Receptionist Were very welcoming and helpful. They were amazing!!♥️-Price - Very affordable. If you are on a budget and will be out and about in Osaka anyways, this hotel is good enough to sleep at.Cons:- The rooms were very small. If it was only for one person, it would be big enough. The beds were okay (5/10). Bathroom smelled because the shower curtain was not changed so it smelled like mildew. Overall everything was too small for my liking.

Really really good location, easy to access to almost everywhere. However, the room has this weird smell and its on top of a bar, so noisy at night. Easily the worst hotel in i’ve ever stay in Japan..

I recently had a disappointing experience at Hotel Code Shinsaibashi, booked through Agoda. Despite reserving a non-smoking room months in advance and informing both Agoda and the hotel of my preference due to asthma, I was allocated a smoking room upon arrival. Despite numerous attempts to rectify the situation, the hotel was uncooperative and even blamed me for the mistake. After prolonged back-and-forth, they reluctantly agreed to cancel my reservation, prompting me to seek accommodation elsewhere.Additionally, the hotel failed to honor their commitment to accept a luggage delivery on my behalf, despite prior assurance. Instead, they laughed off the situation and directed me to pick up my belongings from the post office. Moreover, the staff's disregard for privacy was concerning, as they openly announced room numbers in the lobby, compromising guests' confidentiality.Overall, my experience at Hotel Code Shinsaibashi was marred by poor customer service, negligence, and a lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this establishment to fellow travelers.

Good hotel for a short stay. There's not much room, though, has everything you need. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Free umbrellas if needed.

My friend missed the last train and waited in my room until first train, they charged 5000¥ only for that. They have no soul and will find any little thing to get money out of you threatening you. If you have the choice spend your money somewhere else than here

Very strict hotel and bad customer service. We booked triple room for our family of 4 with 2 young children age 7 and 11. They made us pay extra per person 3000 yen per night eventhough we already said we did not ask for any extra amenities and the kids can sleep together in one bed.We also requested a non smoking room when making the booking online, but they gave us a smoking room and did not bother honoring our request. Very rude young lady with long hair at the front desk that greeted us. Said that i booked a smoking room which i did not.Room has no window. Just a small opening for let the smoke out while smoking i guess...be warned if you decide to book this hotel. In the end we paid more and it is not worth it. There are better hotel near the area. We previously stayed in three bed hotels and the policy was fine with my 2 kids as we did not use much for the hotel other than sleeping.

For me, I think it's good with the price. Location is not too far from train staion and walk aroud 7-8 min to Namba area. The room have a facility such as a small freezer, hair dryer, TV, etc. Toilet is separated from the bathroom. I didnt try a breakfast here but there are grocery shop like Family mart around here.

Loved this hotel - got a twin room for affordable price and it was spacious by Japanese standards with a proper desk, shower + bath, separate toilet and sink which were very functional and convenient. The hotel overall is very modern, clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful. Not to forget the amazing prime location near Dotonbori and the shopping strip. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future :)
