This unassuming, slightly hidden hotel isn't bad at all. The pricing is fair, the rooms are by and large serviceable and fine, and most importantly, its walkability factor is excellent: Shin Ōsaka Sta. is within 10 minutes walking, and from there, you can easily visit anywhere in the region (that is walking distance from a train/subway station), up to and including a 30min express ride to Kyōto.

Can't be faulted as a 3☆ hotel. Very austere but fully functional. Excellent light breakfast (set menu). So close to Shin-osaka station.

Of all the hotels we’ve stayed in Japan this was one of our favourite. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay. They catered little extras for our kids such as having PJs, diapers and wipes. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We had a great view of the station and the kids loved watching the trains come and go. Was a nice touch having a small tatami mat area too.The breakfast was delicious. And overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.Look forward to coming back one day.

On the map, it looks like it's near the station, but in reality, it's a short walk along the conventional line, so it's a bit of a walk. The surrounding atmosphere and security environment are not very good. If you're heading there, you'll have to walk to the end of the station or climb a pedestrian bridge, so be careful with your suitcase. It might be a good option if you're looking for a reasonably priced long-term stay. For ladies' singles, take off your shoes, go to the hallway, then go to your room, then put your shoes in the shoe box and use it like you would at home. It looks like a renovated apartment, so the ceilings are low.The brand new IKEA-like furniture in the room was fine. However, it is a business hotel with the same unit as a normal bath and toilet. I thought it was disgusting because there was a dry smell coming from the water area, but I guess that's normal since it's a business hotel.Breakfast comes in a big bowl, so it's better to wait and see if you want to eat bread.

I recently stayed at the Shin-Osaka Station Hotel and had an outstanding experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from Shin-Osaka Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The breakfast offered was fresh and delicious, providing a great start to each day. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. We needed to ship our luggage to Narita Airport with Yamato, a process we were unfamiliar with. The hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us, helping with the paperwork and even contacting the delivery company to ensure a smooth and timely process despite potential weather delays.Their extra effort and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend the Shin-Osaka Station Hotel for anyone visiting the area. The combination of great location, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, and outstanding service makes it a top choice!

A modest hotel with mini-rooms for people with undemanding comfort and strong nerves. Serious disadvantage: constant noise from power lines, trains and airplanes. The interior is made in an eco-friendly, minimalist style, made from natural materials. Such a Japanese IKEA. Everything is new, shining with cleanliness and freshness. The design is thought out to the smallest detail. The furniture is made of birch, and even the watch case is made of the same wood.  The plumbing is the most stylish and modern. My room was in a special “ladies only” building with increased security, where entry into the hall is only possible with a key card. You must leave your shoes in the hall and change into slippers. The bed in the Single room is quite wide. The mattress is comfortable. The eco-friendly pillow is stuffed with rice straw. It was impossible to sleep on it. At my request, they replaced it with another, softer one.Breakfast takes place in the reception building. You can choose 5 types of egg preparation. A European-style set breakfast is served on a tray. It is quite edible and beautifully presented. Suitable for those who want to lose weight. Juices from a bag and coffee from a bucket are also served.

We stayed in a deluxe triple room with 2 preschool children and 4 family members. They put three beds together. When I asked for a bed guard, they happily provided one. The children had a great time in the very spacious bed. I had a very comfortable stay. I would like to stay again.
