The staff are all foreigners, but when I was there, one black staff member was very unfriendly. There is a lot of mold and quite a few bugs. There is only one shower booth, which is inconvenient. If possible, avoid this accommodation... The only good thing is that there is a good bar nearby called Oreno Nishinari, and Shinsekai is good for drinking.

The location is good and it's better if you just stop by for a break. Air conditioners have a lot of mold, so it is recommended to bring air freshener. If you don't care about room hygiene and don't care about cockroaches and catch them with your feet, the location is good and it's a uniquely fun place.

Bed bugs in the rooms!! Only one shower for more than 25 people. Humidity in the rooms. The worst experience in Japan.

Here are some pictures to support the other reviews. This place is a health hazard. Sorry. AC leak, bedbugs, mold in the AC, mold everywhere actually. For the same price or maybe a big mac more expensive, you can find a place without all that.

A little dissapointed. We had a private doubleroom with shared bathroom. The price was ok/cheap. The room was very small, you couldn‘t turn around if you stand beside the bed - but ok it‘s an hostel.Unfortunately the beds weren‘t very clean and the bathroom neither.Beside the fact, that there are much too less toilets and showers the staff was mostly friendly and the location is good.

The people are really nice, but I was attacked by bed bugs!Maybe that's because there are a lot of foreigners. It's cheap but the rooms are very small.

The location is excellent, close to the stations, and not so far from the central part, you can walk. It lacks cleanliness and order, but for the price you can't ask for more.We paid for a private room with a shared bathroom. We agree that we sleep 2 people for 15usd a night, taking into account that for Japan that price is economical. We are a traveling couple, you can follow us on Instagram @hastalaluna
