This is my favourite budget hotel in Japan so far. The location is excellent since it is almost at the center of everything you need such as shops, restaurants, train station, museums, tourist spots, etc. It is just across Oasis 21 & Nagoya Tower. They have all the necessary amenities and they have a self service area at the lobby where you can get your refills for coffee, toiletries, etc. The room was a little more spacious compared to other budget hotels. The staff at the reception were friendly and courteous. Overall, I liked our stay here and would recommended this of you are looking for an affordable, comfortable and conveniently located hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a terrible experience. I booked a twin room, but when I checked in, they gave me a room with no windows, and they never mentioned this when I made the booking. When I asked the front desk to change my room, the only option they offered had a window facing a wall. They told me there were no other rooms available, yet I saw several other guests checking in after me, so clearly there were better rooms. On top of that, one of the front desk staff, a man named Mahak, was incredibly rude. He made fun of me to his colleague while I was asking for help, which was completely unprofessional.Overall, this hotel does not care about its guests and does not handle requests properly. I would definitely think twice before booking here, especially if you expect basic hospitality and respect.

Service - Friendly and some of the staff speaks very well English.||Rooms - old, very small and it has a little bit a smell. ||Cleanliness - clean-ish||Amenities - like most places you can grab things you need. …

Good location but pricing of hotel and false advertising of the room type completely put me off for future visits. The room type I took which was advertised as a "small double bed" was in fact a single bed (not even semi double, trust me I measured). For two regular sized adults to stay on this type of bed definitely had its limits. Wouldn't recommend.

Even if it’s non smoking- you can still smell the years of cigarettes in the walls and carpet. The lobby was European like and the room was smaller than the other 5 hotels I stayed. The receptionist was not helpful and I ended up paying 5 % more than booking price. Only nice perk was the bath tub and free bath salts

Very well located at the center of Sakae. Very close to the station and lots of stores around. Rooms were not super clean when we arrived, there was dust on the furniture and hair in the bathroom but they're pretty spacious for japanese standards. Other than that the hotel looks good. Breakfast is also available

Emailed and asked about a fairly simple request (luggage storage) well in advance, tried other channels too and got absolutely no reply. Turns out they couldn't do it for us and that led us wasting a round trip to go to the reception to ask while lugging our suitcase too. Terrible experience. From other reviews cleaning seems inconsistent and we were put on hold for 5 minutes at around check-in time, suggesting they are understaffed on the cleaning crew. Also strange choices of amenities - breakfast but no laundry room. Ice machine broken on one of the two floors.

I really enjoyed my stay here, only a block or two from the train station, a block away from the Mirai Tower and a great plaza of food and shops there. Plus the room is bigger than normal Japanese rooms, I could actually lay out my suitcase! The rooms might be a little dated, but it was fine for 3 nights, comfy bed, nice bathroom and amenities and the staff was very nice. Plus they had an exchange machine in the lobby - which saved me another trip out. Thank you

As in the title, the best feature of this hotel is its location, which is just beside the park, malls, train stations, and the iconic Mirai Tower of Nagoya. Quite outside too even though near a very busy night time area. …
