Although it is a guesthouse, it also serves as a cafe during the day.

It was a nice townscape. It would have been even better if the accommodation had warmth.

You can enjoy your meal slowly while maintaining ample distance from others. There was only one type of lunch, but you could tell that it was made very carefully in the kitchen. The salted malt chicken was tender and very delicious.

My daughter and I stayed here on July 3, 2021.I didn't really like guesthouses, but I decided to stay here because I liked the atmosphere of an old folk house, it was close to the station, and I wanted to see the scenery of the surrounding Tokaido post towns.Actually, it was just us, so it felt like a private villa, so the result was okay. The owner was kind, and I booked a room with a lattice window, but he laid out a futon in the spacious eight-tatami room. You can come from check-in and breakfast to check-out, so it's kind of like a lodge. There was no TV so I was able to relax ^_^Welcome drink included100 yen with washing machine detergentThe shower rooms are separate from the back to the outside for men and women, and are a little small, but there is also a bathtub, so you can take a soak. With hair dryerThere is a smoking table outside next to the bathroom. There were mosquitoes, but there was a mosquito repellent inside the room so I didn't get bitten while I was sleeping. We were also able to borrow a pole to dry our laundry and hangers. The washroom has two toilets, face towels, toothbrush set, and hair dryer. The toilet was clean with a flush toilet seat. The air conditioner was a large model and worked well.Breakfast was soup, 2 pieces of bread, boiled eggs, and coffee or tea.It was enough for the morning. For dinner, the owner told me to go to Jugen Muchaya, a handmade noodle restaurant located in an old folk house on the same street. When I checked out at 10am, I was able to store my luggage while I was given a tour of Arimatsu Shibori and a tour of the town. When I returned, the cafe had started serving lunch. It's not a concrete building, it's a friendly old folk house-style guesthouse, and I thought the price was reasonable for two people, including breakfast, so I wanted to stay there for several nights. The only minus one star is that it would have been nice if the shower room was indoors, and that there was no ventilation fan and the ventilation rope was so hot that the hot air couldn't escape.I would like to use it again when I go to Aichi.
