Very nice place, very clean rooms and lovely hosts.We did not have a rental car and this stay was also easy to do by bus. Make sure you purchase a bus pass when you arrive on the island. You should also keep a close eye on the times and where each bus goes. Especially a challenge in the evening. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Also check the days they are open.Furthermore, beautiful nature seen. The walk to the Janokuchinotaki waterfall was especially beautiful. Seen monkeys and snakes.

The table in the dining room, made from a single piece of Yaku cedar that is 4m long and over 10cm thick, is extremely valuable and a sight to behold.Even the locals are surprised and delighted by the size of the stone, which will never be cut from the mountain again.It was a quiet place outside of town, which was what I expected, but it was difficult to find the point where you went off the main road onto a side street and went up a narrow hill.The others look similar, so you need to keep an eye out while driving at low speeds.As an accommodation facility, there are no TVs in the rooms and mobile reception is difficult, which is a slight negative point, so I can't give it a perfect rating, but if you think of it as a digital detox experience, it was also a memorable experience. (Wi-Fi was connected properly)I stayed in a room on the first floor closest to the dining room, but I could hear footsteps inside the building and the opening and closing of the sliding doors, so it's not as soundproof as a hotel.However, the other guests were on the second floor, and I think the landlord and his wife were considerate, so although it wasn't a perfect score, I felt it was within an acceptable range.Having only a shower can actually be an opportunity to visit local hot springs, and if you change your perspective, you can make a huge difference in your itinerary.I simulated various itineraries myself, but the information and advice I received from the locals was very helpful.We also enjoyed talking privately with each other.Overall, I was satisfied with both the destination and accommodation for my wedding anniversary.At the last minute, on the day I returned home, my flight was canceled due to bad weather, so I hurriedly booked a high-speed boat transfer.I couldn't make it in time for the flight from Kagoshima, and the Shinkansen transfer from Kagoshima Chuo was a big expense.

Stayed here for three days and had a perfect stay. The house is very new, all facilities are well organized, and the rooms are large.You can have carefully matched breakfast and dinner every day.The hostess Nao and the male host Sam are very considerate and friendly. After we go back every day, we will ask if we want them to drive us to the hot springs. And I can feel that they have a kind of distant politeness. I like this feeling very much. Everything is just right.On the third day, they took us to see a festival held every four years and took many beautiful photos of the sunset.Finally, I want to say that I really like their cat. He is a very smart and philosophical cat. I miss him so much.

I visited the island just as the typhoon was passing, and no supply ships had arrived on the island for 10 days. Even in such a situation, I was very happy to be treated to freshly squeezed tankan juice.The signboard cat was also cute and soothing.I will stay here again when I visit Yakushima.

This is what an inn with true hospitality is all about! The facilities were comfortable, the food was delicious, and above all, the hospitality of the husband and wife was the best! In addition to barrier-free facilities, the building has a spacious floor plan overall. The clean scenery surrounded by greenery is also very relaxing. The husband and wife were very considerate and took us around to the nearby hot springs by car. Dinner includes local ingredients, and we also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages of your own choice to make your meal more delicious. As an option, my wife and I are also available from English-speaking countries, so you can bring guests from overseas as well, and there is an astronomical observation dome, so if the weather is nice, I'm looking forward to visiting there next time.I wish I could go.

The husband and wife are very attentive and have great personalities! This is a very beautiful and homely inn! Although the transportation was a bit inconvenient, the night sky was so beautiful and nature was so abundant that I didn't have to worry about transportation at all.I will definitely go again!

We had a wonderful stay here, easily the best during all of our japan travel (and we didn't even get a chance to use the on-premise sky observatory since it was Tok cloudy). We definitely regret not staying here longer. This minshuku is well equipped, very clean and has a warm, cozy atmosphere. And the hospitality of the hosts is priceless!
