I ordered a Western course for dinner and stayed overnight. This was the most disappointing accommodation I've ever stayed at.The menu structure was completely different from the photos and the menu posted on Rakuten. It was just hamburger steak, grilled eggplant, rice, and instant soup. The room and view were good, so I think it's best to stay overnight without meals.

The room is new, neat and clean. The bathroom overlooks the cove and offers a spectacular view of the sunrise over the distant mountains. The garden overlooking from the second floor is also beautifully planted with flowers, and you can clearly see that the owner is working hard on it. The living room and bedroom are spacious, almost like an apartment, but unfortunately there is no kitchen. A small kitchen (sink, hob and stove, or microwave) would have been perfect. We eat dinner at the cafe downstairs. I chose Japanese food, and had salt-grilled horse mackerel, sashimi, and about 3 small bowls. At the inn in Amakusa where I stayed before that, even though the accommodation fee was low, there was so much seafood such as sashimi, grilled fish, shrimp, and shellfish that I couldn't eat all of it. I felt relieved. After dinner, I tried to drink tea in my room after 8 o'clock, but there was an electric kettle to boil water, but there were no teacups or cups in the room to pour hot water. Only the guests were left in the building, and no one was staying at the hostel, so I had no choice but to contact the owner on his cell phone, but he said he had gone back to his home, but he kindly came out. He even lent me a cup from the cafe downstairs. The parking lot is located at the bottom of a steep slope with a height difference of one floor, so if your luggage is heavy, it may be difficult to carry it up the slope to the building and then up the stairs to your room on the second floor. . I think this is a good inn for those who want to enjoy the view and homely hospitality in a small inn.

I came to see the cranes and stayed there. It was a good experience with a very kind person, and the hot pot for dinner was delicious (especially the wasabi sashimi). You will need to walk for 20-30 minutes to reach the Crane Observation Center, but you may be able to see many wild birds such as spoonbills and shelducks along the way. The gray cat named Ravi was also very friendly and cute.

My wife and I spent two nights in the flat above the cafe in January 2020. The location is very good. We enjoyed seeing the sunrise, the birds, the sea, the farms ...The owner is very friendly. We talked and shared our stories although he spoke Japanese and my wife could speak some. The owner prepared breakfasts and dinners for my wife and me. The meals were very delicious.I am home now. We really miss the time we spent there. I wish the owner good health and good luck!
