Pension Marin Terrace

Thank you for your help from June 25th to 27th.We definitely recommend staying overnight with half board!Delicious food, a fluffy bed, my mom's happy chats, my quiet and kind dad's smile...Perfect for travelers looking to interact with islanders.Meal times are set at 7:30 and 6:30 p.m., but they can be staggered.You can bring your own alcohol (bring it to the table when you eat), and it's much cheaper than going out for drinks.Mom's cooking is of professional quality and tastes comparable to high-end restaurants.This is my 4th time in Amami and I have stayed at many luxury hotels, but no matter what kind of food I have, it can't compete with my mother's cooking, which uses local ingredients.Surprisingly, there are not many restaurants in Tatsugo, and there are not many places where you can eat while drinking because some restaurants are closed on holidays or early.Also, taxis and substitute taxis require reservations and are difficult to get, so in my personal opinion, I think Marine Terrace is the best.Luckily, we happened to be the only ones who reserved the room, so we didn't know how the noise would be coming from the next room.There is a private beach and you have the sea and sky all to yourself.It takes 20-30 seconds to reach the sea.There is a terrace with a small view of the sea.At night, you can see the stars from the terrace.It doesn't have a name such as Tehiro Beach or Uchitawara Beach, so it seems that only hotel guests use it.When you get tired of playing, you can go straight to the Goemon bath that your father has heated for you and your tiredness will be blown away.Our signboard dog, Terrace, lives outside, but he never comes indoors, so I don't think he has any allergies.I'm worried about that bush mosquito because I keep it outside in the heat...One thing that bothers me is that I could hear the sound of my mother cooking on the first floor up to my room, so I think it's very lively during the high season when families stay here.I definitely recommend it for familiesIf you want to spend a quiet time listening to the sound of waves in your room, or if you prefer business-like service, we recommend Sundays Amami in Naze.

I was happy to find such a wonderful pension! I was very impressed by the couple's hospitality!Staying at this pension made our first trip to Amami Oshima the best one, with delicious food, thoughtful consideration, and fun conversations! I will go again!

I came here because I wanted to experience the kindness of people on Amami Oshima. Unlike hotels where you only have a short conversation at the reception, the hospitality and care of the owner couple made me feel at ease and relieved the fatigue of my trip. The dog is also a good boy. I thought the Goemon bath would be in a drum, but it turned out to be a normal bathtub, heated with firewood. I went in with my family. There is a shower in the room and a large bathtub on the second floor. The food is hearty. There's a shower outside where you can wash your outdoor gear, they lent me a snorkel, and although I didn't use it, there were swings, hammocks, rocking chairs, nostalgic manga, and a guidebook to Amami Oshima...an inn that makes you want to spend a more relaxing stay. did. thank you very much.
