About 5 min tram ride from Kagoshimachuo station, and then walk for about another 5 min. 5 min walk from the arcade so not the best location but manageable. No public bath for women - it is rock sauna instead- which is a dry sauna wearing a gown and you lie on hot stone floor, belly down 5 min + belly up 10 min + 5 min break repeating 3 sets. They will tell you. You have to make a reservation at front counter. The building seemed old but look classy. The room was well cleaned and comfortable, it did have a bit of that musty smell but not too bothersome. TV featured the modern YouTube and stuff, and the screen was much larger than typical budget hotels.

Good cost performance. The room is also clean and relatively quiet. Although there is a fee, the breakfast is extremely delicious. There is also a large bath and sauna, but one negative point is that you cannot go there wearing a yukata and slippers.Revisited. You can also take a bath in a yukata and slippers! The room is large and the cost performance is good! I definitely use it when I come around here!

My friend and I were expecting some very old and bad maintained hotel, but I wouldn’t call it exactly like that. The price was very low compared to most of the hotels in Kagoshima and a decent rate considering that the weekend we stayed was a holiday weekend in Japan. It is old indeed, but rather than looking rusted by time it feels more like a vintage place, like going back into the Japan 80s. It is quite big and has several facilities including the public bath. Location is good as it is very close to the Tenmonkan district of restaurants and shops in Kagoshima.

It was my first time stopping here, but both the interior and the guest rooms were clean. There seem to be a lot of group visitors on weekends. The breakfast buffet is also very satisfying. thank you very much.

Today I was not staying at the hotel but using "Ryotei Takechiyo", so the room evaluation is tentative.Mr. Nakai will also be with you in the special room on the third floor, which is very helpful when you use it for work.Since I was at work, I wasn't able to take many pictures of the food, but I was able to sit down and spend some meaningful time with my partner. We are currently undergoing construction on the exterior walls, so it may be difficult to see from a distance, but please rest assured that we are open for business.
