I had tempura for dinner, but I left it alone until I paid the bill.I felt that this was a troublesome store where the proprietress was having long conversations with customers, and people who appeared to be in black clothes would bring slips but leave them unattended for a long time. The sashimi was very tasty, but the tempura was average. It seems like a set that allows you to enjoy a variety of flavors, but in the end, you're told to use 90% salt, and you don't have to tell them the recommended way to eat it or not, or if it changes depending on your mood. Eat as you like.I think the price is reasonable, but I'm just disappointed. The TV in the room was completely blue. When I informed the front desk, they asked me to change the room.I had packed my things right before I went to bed, so I refused to change rooms, but my boss called me again and said the same thing, which made me feel uncomfortable. It seems like I already knew that my boss was blue...I wouldn't care if it was a cheap business hotel, but this one seems to have no pride.I wish they would stop pretending to be high class.

This is my dream hotel that I have wanted to stay at ever since I decided to go on a trip to Kagoshima! I thought about staying at a hotel in the center of Kagoshima Chuo Station, but when I looked at the official website, I found a surprisingly reasonable plan, so I booked it right away!・Free shuttle busThere is a free shuttle bus that goes around major locations such as Tenmonkan and Kagoshima Chuo Station and takes you to the hotel, which was very helpful! Since it is a shuttle bus to the hotel, it is not allowed to get off from where you boarded the bus. You can download the timetable from the official website.·check-inAfter arriving at the hotel by shuttle bus, I checked in at the front desk, but since I had received a QR code by email before arriving, I tried to check in unattended there, but the staff asked if they could help me. Eventually, I was guided from check-in to my room. Recently, it has become rare for me to be guided to the room where I will be staying, but I felt that it was the first time in a while that I was able to experience a sense of something out of the ordinary.・Inside the buildingAs is often the case with hotels that are not located on flat land, the reception desk is on the 4th floor, the open-air bath is on the 3rd floor, and the convenience store is on the 1st floor. It can be a little confusing if you are not used to it, such as going to a convenience store via the elevator or going to the convenience store only by using this elevator. However, the employees at the museum are generally polite and polite, so if you don't understand something, it's easier to just ask, and there are employees everywhere, so I think it's easy to ask. I visited the boulangerie in the hotel, and it was great to be able to purchase souvenirs! If you have time, you can also use the cafe next door, where you can enjoy delicious-looking sweets and parfaits. The convenience store contained a Family Mart. Having a convenience store within the facility will make you feel safer!・Open-air bathI had planned to take a bath in the open-air bath while watching the sunset over Sakurajima, but I was unable to do so because I was too busy sightseeing and checked in late. Please come next time!Instead, I tried taking a morning bath while watching the sunrise and Sakurajima. When I stayed, it was mid-October, and the sunrise was just after 6 o'clock. The open-air bath was available for use from 6 o'clock, so I went there first thing in the morning, and there were quite a lot of people using it. Bath towels and face towels are provided in the changing room, so you don't have to take towels from your room or bring them back to your room, which was convenient! I took an open-air bath just in time for sunrise. In the changing room, there was a separate vanity space and a relaxing chair space where you could relax while watching Sakurajima after taking a bath. The open-air bath itself, including the washing area, has a retro feel, but it was well kept and had a clean feel.·breakfastIf you have a plan that includes breakfast, the staff will ask you about your preferred time when you check in. At check-in, you will receive a meal ticket, so you can bring it with you and go to the venue at your desired time. It is not allowed to enter the venue wearing indoor clothes or slippers. The venue was very large and there was a wide variety of food including Japanese, Western, and Chinese. When you enter, you will receive a ticket and choose your own seat. Just to the right of the entrance, there are small bowls of Japanese food. As you proceed, you will find a drinks corner, and beyond that you will find bread, soup, noodles, curry, etc. There are sausages and pizza near the bread, and salads and desserts in the back. Omelettes and French toast were made on the spot. On the left side of the entrance, you'll find bonito flakes with egg and sea bream rice, so it's hard to choose! It was nice to have breakfast included. It was delicious! 60 minutes after entering, turn over your ticket and exit.I stay at various hotels during my travels, but for the first time in a long while, I was able to experience the classic appearance and hospitality, feel something out of the ordinary, and enjoy my trip to the fullest, including the hotel experience! I look forward to working with you again when you come to Kagoshima!

I visited in October 2024.I visited "Jade Hall" which serves Cantonese cuisine. The structure has not changed since the days of "Shiroyama Kanko Hotel" and the front desk is on the 4th floor. This is confusing, confusing.Elevator 🛗 I couldn't go to the place I thought I was going to go 😫If you are not used to it, please rely on the information board. When I asked the concierge next to the front desk how to get to Jade Hall,Thank you for explaining carefully 🥰Inside, there are many pictures of Sakurajima 🖼️,Of course, the view of Sakurajima is also good 👍I was able to see a lot of Satsuma Kiriko and Satsuma ware.delicious bakery,There are various Nagasawa wine shops, etc. This is an enjoyable hotel. There will be no more Ladies Day, etc. There seemed to be plenty of benefits for members.

October 2024I stayed at this hotel's Sakurajima View Double for one night during my trip to Kagoshima. The location is in Shiroyama overlooking the city, and when I drove there there were quite steep slopes and tunnels. There is a parking building about 5 minutes walk from the entrance through the tunnel. A hotel van will transport you this distance. 1300 yen per night. You will be asked for your car number when checking in.The hotel building itself is not that new, but the interior has been renovated very nicely. When you hold your room key in the elevator, you can press only the buttons for your room floor and the connecting floor to the public bath. The room is horizontally long overall, with the front desk at the far end and the rooms in the back quite far. The large hot spring bath is also located at the front end.The room is spacious and you can see Sakurajima from the window. The public bath is on the 5th floor and requires a hassle of changing elevators, but security is provided. Towels and amenities are provided, so all you need to do is bring your room key. The view of Sakurajima from the open-air bath was beautiful, and since it was open from 6:00 a.m., I watched the sunrise rising from Sakurajima while taking a bath. For dinner, we went to a restaurant in the city, and there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the city center every 30 minutes, which is very convenient. There is a dedicated bus stop that you can use on your way home. For breakfast, we upgraded from the buffet for 1,000 yen and had a Japanese set meal at the restaurant next to the front desk. There is a large selection of rice, and you can choose from white rice, porridge, ochazuke, tamago kake gohan, or eel bowl, and get unlimited refills. All the staff are kind and provide support in a variety of ways.Points I would like to see improved in the future are:・You still need to write your own slip to use the refrigerator in your room and bring it to the front desk when checking out.・When you check in, you will be given a breakfast ticket with your name on it, and it will also indicate whether you have any allergies, but it is a hassle to bring it with you.・The washroom in the room is small and there is no towel rack.・The underground convenience store is far away and has few items.

I was looking forward to staying at Shiroyama Hotel, which is like the face of Kagoshima. However, the response at check-in was a little lacking, and I would have liked a little more explanation since the building is large. The explanation I received was that the key did not have a room number for security reasons. only. There was no explanation about the restaurant, so I ended up researching it myself, and when I arrived at the venue, I had to wait for two hours before I could eat.I didn't even receive a breakfast ticket, so I called to confirm.Even when we went out in the morning, for some reason we were the only ones taken, and the card key didn't work properly, and even when we called the staff, they didn't know. Other customers can't wait to try it out, so much so that they call out to the staff. The staff member who came again didn't say thank you for staying with us, but said that they were done and left.Although there are some kind people, such as the staff at the restaurant at the breakfast venue, it is unfortunate that the quality of the staff at the front desk, which is the first and last part of the stay, has declined.
