This is my dream hotel that I have wanted to stay at ever since I decided to go on a trip to Kagoshima! I thought about staying at a hotel in the center of Kagoshima Chuo Station, but when I looked at the official website, I found a surprisingly reasonable plan, so I booked it right away!・Free shuttle busThere is a free shuttle bus that goes around major locations such as Tenmonkan and Kagoshima Chuo Station and takes you to the hotel, which was very helpful! Since it is a shuttle bus to the hotel, it is not allowed to get off from where you boarded the bus. You can download the timetable from the official website.·check-inAfter arriving at the hotel by shuttle bus, I checked in at the front desk, but since I had received a QR code by email before arriving, I tried to check in unattended there, but the staff asked if they could help me. Eventually, I was guided from check-in to my room. Recently, it has become rare for me to be guided to the room where I will be staying, but I felt that it was the first time in a while that I was able to experience a sense of something out of the ordinary.・Inside the buildingAs is often the case with hotels that are not located on flat land, the reception desk is on the 4th floor, the open-air bath is on the 3rd floor, and the convenience store is on the 1st floor. It can be a little confusing if you are not used to it, such as going to a convenience store via the elevator or going to the convenience store only by using this elevator. However, the employees at the museum are generally polite and polite, so if you don't understand something, it's easier to just ask, and there are employees everywhere, so I think it's easy to ask. I visited the boulangerie in the hotel, and it was great to be able to purchase souvenirs! If you have time, you can also use the cafe next door, where you can enjoy delicious-looking sweets and parfaits. The convenience store contained a Family Mart. Having a convenience store within the facility will make you feel safer!・Open-air bathI had planned to take a bath in the open-air bath while watching the sunset over Sakurajima, but I was unable to do so because I was too busy sightseeing and checked in late. Please come next time!Instead, I tried taking a morning bath while watching the sunrise and Sakurajima. When I stayed, it was mid-October, and the sunrise was just after 6 o'clock. The open-air bath was available for use from 6 o'clock, so I went there first thing in the morning, and there were quite a lot of people using it. Bath towels and face towels are provided in the changing room, so you don't have to take towels from your room or bring them back to your room, which was convenient! I took an open-air bath just in time for sunrise. In the changing room, there was a separate vanity space and a relaxing chair space where you could relax while watching Sakurajima after taking a bath. The open-air bath itself, including the washing area, has a retro feel, but it was well kept and had a clean feel.·breakfastIf you have a plan that includes breakfast, the staff will ask you about your preferred time when you check in. At check-in, you will receive a meal ticket, so you can bring it with you and go to the venue at your desired time. It is not allowed to enter the venue wearing indoor clothes or slippers. The venue was very large and there was a wide variety of food including Japanese, Western, and Chinese. When you enter, you will receive a ticket and choose your own seat. Just to the right of the entrance, there are small bowls of Japanese food. As you proceed, you will find a drinks corner, and beyond that you will find bread, soup, noodles, curry, etc. There are sausages and pizza near the bread, and salads and desserts in the back. Omelettes and French toast were made on the spot. On the left side of the entrance, you'll find bonito flakes with egg and sea bream rice, so it's hard to choose! It was nice to have breakfast included. It was delicious! 60 minutes after entering, turn over your ticket and exit.I stay at various hotels during my travels, but for the first time in a long while, I was able to experience the classic appearance and hospitality, feel something out of the ordinary, and enjoy my trip to the fullest, including the hotel experience! I look forward to working with you again when you come to Kagoshima!
