It's a detached cottage, and there's a balcony on both occasions where you can see the stars.

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days.There should be more reviews! It was such a wonderful inn. Recommended.◎・The surrounding environment is quiet (it might be different if the lodge next door is lively)・My favorite is the balcony with a sofa. I saw a shooting star at night. (Be careful of insect bites)・Automatic lock with number key. To check out, just leave your number card and leave the room.-The room and bathroom are new and clean.- Surrounded by nature, you can see lots of greenery from the indoor windows.・It seems that the dryer is out of order, so you will have to dry your laundry yourself, but there is plenty of space to do so. Since I was trekking, being able to do laundry was very helpful.・I was also able to borrow an outside hose to wash my climbing shoes.・The owner couple is very calm and kind. Although you probably won't see us other than at check-in, we are in an environment where you can feel free to ask for support if you have any problems.△・If you go by rental car from Awa, the entrance is a little difficult to find.・When entering the path from the main road to the hotel, there is a steep slope, but this step scraped the bottom of the rental car's bumper every time. It would be nice if it was also a simple slope.・I was concerned that there was a little water in the kettle, probably because it had been used before.

Nice, comfortable place to stay for a few relaxing days. Good location to access some hikes, beaches, waterfalls, anbo river and some restaurants. Good accommodation to come back to at the end of a day of exploring the island.There were loudspeaker announcements throughout the island that can be heard several times throughout the day including 6 am. Yakashima is also a wild jungle so be aware and prepared when visiting.Use of the washing machine was a great benefit in the middle of our trip to Japan, note that you'll need to air dry your clothes on the clothes line, but that worked well for us.Overall good accommodation and recommend to others.

Highly recommend you to choose this accommodation when visiting Yakushima. The owner is super nice and helpful. We came across with poor weather conditions during the stay. The owner kept updating us the information about the road conditions and weather information. The most warm-hearted stay we have ever experienced.

I stayed here as a base for consecutive nights.15 minutes to the bus stop heading to Jomonsugi15 minutes to the towns around Awa PortAbout 5 minutes to hot springs and supermarketsI'm satisfied with both the richness and the contents.There were a lot of things that were difficult to pass on to accommodation costs, such as a microwave, refrigerator, disposable chopsticks, and plastic wrap.It was 30,000 yen for 2 adults for 2 nights and 3 days (7,500 yen per person per night)thank you

2022.06.14 ~ 2 nights and 3 days.Nice exterior and cute interiorIt was nice and clean.A projector is installedTowels and amenities are provided for several nights.Wi-Fi connection is also fastThere was nothing inconvenient in the room ☺️The only disappointing thing was that there were flying bugs at night.A lot of things came out in the room... 😂It can't be helped since it's the rainy season...Even so, it comes out a lot! ️ lolOn the first day, I took it steadily with a tissue.There was no end to it, and I found it on the second day.I got rid of it by rolling.Hmm... I guess it's better to avoid the rainy season 😅Also, the water in the bathroom was a little trickling.I would be happy if there was a little more momentum 🙇🏻Other than that, it was really comfortable and nice.The owner was also polite and kind.Thank you for your help🙏🏻💦

Very nice and cozy cottage room at a quiet spot. The room has a balcony you can use for viewing stars at night or just having a coffee and relaxing. Our stay was excellent and the host was very kind. We got to try out also some of the tasty papayas growing right in front of the room.

Nice place to stay in. You can see the galaxy clearly in the sky. Ride down the path, you can see a cosy cafe with yummy spaghetti on the opposite side of the main road. And if you drive 5 minute time, you can see a reasonable sushi restaurant. Due to the typhoon problem, we needed to shorten our duration from 3 nights to 2 nights. The owner of the villa immediately helped us to solve the problem. I like Yakushima!

Lovely clean rooms and helpful staff. Not too expensive for a night's stay either. We had to stay here at short notice due to some problems with our other accommodation and they booked us in nice and quickly with a minimum of fuss.
