The woman at the reception who was doing my nails was disappointing.Perhaps he was in a bad mood, but his attitude toward other staff members was so disgusting that it seemed like he was reluctant to work. The room was clean and comfortable.

I think about half of the customers are Japanese.A quiet and relaxing hotelRecommended for people from overseasStaff can speak EnglishThis hotel provides full support for activities in Yakushima, such as mountaineering equipment rental, tour transportation, etc.The dinner menu is small in quantity but has a luxurious feel. The breakfast buffet style is easy and good. For a table by the window, I prefer the view to the mountain side.It was great to be able to see Mt. Kaimondake from the seaside room.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights starting September 9th.Purchased with JAL's Dynamic Package around February. The flight ticket from Sapporo to Yakushima was 134,600 yen per person for 4 nights at this hotel (2 people in a Japanese-style room) including breakfast. It was a great value package considering the quality of the staff, service, and food.

Thank you for staying with us for 4 nights and 5 days. The room was a Japanese-style room, but it was clean and I was able to spend a relaxing time. This time I went trekking to Jomon Cedar and Yakusugi Land. If you request, we can also arrange for your lunch box. It was my first time trekking, so it was very helpful! All the staff were very kind and I felt comfortable and had a good time. Even after climbing, the staff greeted me at the entrance with a smile and said, "Thank you for your hard work," which made me very happy!I especially loved the attentiveness and smiles of the foreign female staff. We also used the cafe in the hotel, and the menu was extensive, including alcohol. The tankan pound cake was especially delicious!I think this hotel is recommended for first-time mountain climbers and first-time visitors to Yakushima.I would like to use it again next time.

For sure 5 stars. Price might be a little steep but not many other options that include sea view, breakfast, onsen, and bathtub. Gift shop is more reasonably priced than downtown, staff is friendly, and there is a nice bar / cafe on site. 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal and 10 minutes to the bars / restaurants downtown.

It has been renovated and is clean inside. However, the food is not good enough (an old inn). Drink prices are very reasonable. The hot springs were also pleasant.
