The room had a very Showa feel to it, but the food was very delicious, and if it was sunny and there was a new moon, you could see the stars on the coast.

The female staff at the front desk has a wonderful smile☺The explanations were thorough and kind.After playing in the sea, I could go up the stairs, take a shower by the pool, and then go back to my room, which was great because it was so easy to change clothes.The large public bath is also on the first floor, which is very convenient!The scenery is also good.The only thing that bothered me about the room was that it faced the street, so the noise from morning car traffic and the sound of the vacuum cleaner on the first floor woke me up in my 7th grade.Maybe it's a problem with the location of the room.I was wondering what it would be like to ride a personal watercraft in a place where sea turtles come to feed...isn't it dangerous?Others come here on snorkel tours, so I didn't ask for any activities and swam by myself🐢I think it would be safer to have a guide when you are unfamiliar with the sea!

very beautiful beach

I love the sea and traveling, and I go to places like Okinawa several times a year, both domestically and overseas. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel in Amami because it had a nice atmosphere. Two of the five nights we stayed were at a new, well-regarded hotel in the city, and it was just as good as the reviews said. This was my third night here. I arrived early because I was looking forward to seeing the beach right in front of me. Thank you for allowing me to enter the room quickly without making a bad face. It was on the top floor of the east building, which was called the new building, and I think I saw it in other reviews, but when the room door closed, it wouldn't close unless you closed it all the way by yourself. When I took my hand off it like normal, it didn't close. Also, probably because it locks automatically, there is no inner key. The extra bed squeaks when the child moves. The cleaning was beautiful. The entire facility, including the pool, is very old and has not been renovated. The public bath was a Showa era bath, and my husband said he didn't even feel like entering it. As the name Amanesia suggests, the restaurant seems to be conscious of the Balinese atmosphere, but I've been to Bali many times, so it's only half-baked in comparison. When I took out the laundry from the laundromat, there was dust on it (lol). My husband jumped up at night and was shaking it off, so I asked him if G-Baby was there. And I missed it. It's the worst. That's what he said. The beach in front of you is rocky and if you go a little deeper, there are probably more fish than I expected. Also, there was a folk music live performance at a restaurant, and the microphone was so loud that it hurt my ears. The sound is unnecessarily loud. I think the atmosphere is nice. But it hasn't been touched so much that it's just old. There are many hotels that are old but have been renovated and are good. I think it's a good idea if you have small children and there is a good line of communication from the beach to the room, and you don't mind if it's old. For the price, I didn't feel it was a good value for money. There aren't many types of shops either. It's a relief that the staff were nice, but I won't be visiting again.

Since it's Amami, it's a distance that can only be reached by car and bus. I think it's nice to be right next to the sea, but the room smelled musty, probably because of the humidity.There were not many items in the morning breakfast, but the taste was good. The staff was nearby and couldn't replace it. During the morning, the staff gave me some food and went around the morning, but I thought that was a good idea.

The location is great. It's close to the airport, has direct access to a beautiful beach, has a pool, has an adjacent restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner, and is close to convenience stores, drug stores, and night tour meeting points. This convenience, which is not available in a rented villa, is very appreciated by families with children.However, the facilities are old.Especially the guest room toilets, guest bathroom wash basins, and coin laundry.I think it's really a waste.Of course, the beds and furniture are old, but they were kept clean so it didn't bother me too much. However, the water area is different...I felt that it would be nice if only a few rooms with nice views could be partially renovated.

The food at the restaurant was delicious.

It's quiet, not very popular, and nice.
