カプセルホテル鈴森屋（Capsule Hostel Suzumoriya）

Truly astonishing. A teeny skyscraper, built on a very tiny patch of a beautiful city. I suppose each one of the surrounding, mini skyscrapers must be built on land that was recently a timber, single or double storey, trad. Japanese home or shop.There are buildings of that kind still standing, in the locality.I'm fascinated by the way city space has been used. The tall new buildings fitting closely together, as if they are bits of 'Lego'. But upwards of 7/8/9? stories high, instead of one or two.I was very comfortable and happy in my own micro pod space. Very new, very quiet. very clean, tiny bathtub/showers, or just showers one floor above, and toilet/washing facilities, same floor as my pod.Staff were kind and friendly, basic cooking/eating facilities always available. I think the roof must be a good place to socialise, I just liked to view the rooftops, and enjoy the night. I would be happy to live there. My photos are all happy memory rooftop photos.I was working a few train stops away, such an easy ride with the main railway station only a few minutes walk away. Thank you so much everyone who made my stay so relaxed and interesting.

I've used it several times. July 22nd: I asked if I could stay for 4 nights starting today, but I checked my reservation history and had to wait for about 5 minutes.At the time of asking, I had not made a reservation, and if I had, I would have told them, ``I had a reservation for accommodation starting today.''Also, even though the accommodation fee had been changed, I was not informed and was presented with the amount. I think I should just say that the price has changed from 2,500 yen to 3,000 yen.If you have used the registration field several times during your stay, you only need to write your name because it is already registered. If this is the setting, I think it should be made known to everyone. It's annoying to have to write down your address, name, and age over and over again. I didn't say it because I was too lazy to say it.You should reconsider your customer service.

1. Because it is newly built, it is very clean overall. Luggage storage available. Free towels provided. There is a bathtub in the shower room. The bedding is good. The space is quite spacious so you can spread out your luggage.2. The sink is a little poorly maintained. The area where the dryer is used is dirty.3. If you get caught on a floor without a shower room, you have to take the elevator to a floor with a shower room, but if the elevator timing is not right, you will have to wait a long time.4. The biggest drawback is… Even if I sit on the toilet for just a little while, the light keeps going out 😂😂😂😂I am satisfied with the cost-effective accommodation!

This was my first time staying at a capsule hotel, which is located parallel to the aisle. Beds are usually placed perpendicular to the aisle, right? However, a certain number of beds are arranged in parallel, so it is noisy.Other people's luggage is placed on my bedside, which is separated by a thin board, and in the middle of the night, my bag's zipper gets rustled and I can't sleep because it's so noisy even with my favorite earplugs!I asked the front desk to change my bed, but they said no.The rustling church continued even after the lights went out at 0:00, and it was an experience that made us wonder if a capsule hotel like this exists!

I saw the photo where the single beds I stayed in Yokohama had exactly the same spacing. It was close to JR Kinshicho and Sumiyoshi Station, so I made a reservation here. It turned out to be a recently opened hotel and everything was very new and clean. Locker and towels will be provided upon check-in. But there are areas that need improvement: It is recommended to add a guest card function on the elevator or outside the door. People who are not staying can easily enter and leave the room and bathroom, so valuables should be put into the locker when taking a shower.In addition, the shower hook of the bathtub is installed in the wrong position, which makes people have to enter the bathtub to take a bath, and then the hair easily blocks the water level, and finally the user cannot use it. Add hooks for clothing.There is no microwave or refrigerator. There are 4 LUUP parking lots outside the hotel door. Laundry costs 300 yen and drying costs 100 yen for 15 minutes.I will choose it again next time I travel.

Mixed experience… not worth the price depending when you book.First, it’s NOT A CAPSULE HOTEL despite their claim. It’s an elevated bunk bed experience, nothing more. The front of the bed cannot be closed. It’s just a roller blind covering the front. Means, you can still hear others snoring, walking around the dormitory, and so on..Pro: Mostly clean (not enough by Japanese standards I would argue though), good futon, lockers, modern layout, friendly staffThe following points made my experience less enjoyable though and most of these points can be easily improved:- Slow Internet/WiFi- The fan inside the “capsule” is super weak. It’s okay mostly because the dormitory room is cooled down a lot though. Still, if you produce a lot of heat yourself, you gonna be uncomfortable. I couldn’t use the sheet for sure.- Cleaning is acceptable, but not done thoroughly at all. Seeing the staff changing the sheets while the floor was still dirty; just vacuuming by sight and not everywhere leaving some visible dirt behind for days.. 🙄- The dryer on 8th floor doesn’t work well because the filter is usually clogged. It should be cleaned daily.- Most lights and outlets on the terrace don’t work.- The clock inside the beds are not radio bound. They have to be set manually. In case of a power outage in the night they will just stop in between… Thus, you can’t rely on the alarm!- No warm water from the sinks- The shoe area (just outside the 玄関) was always really dirty and stinky, I didn’t see it cleaned even one day for multiple days of staying.. please provide some deodorant for shoes at least. Clean daily at least, thoroughly. Consider putting mats over there so people walk barefooted instead with their shoes on. Also, clean it often, please. I ended up also walking with my shoes on because it’s so dirty.- Please provide something and somewhere to hang up clothes outside. There is enough space, and in high summer nobody should waste the energy for the dryer if it’s faster to dry with the sun anyways.- The first floor is way too cold to stay for long and the AC is blowing you away when you try to sit in the only area where you could possibly maybe work a bit.- Please make sure to keep the lights on for bunk beds not in use to prevent bed bugs a bit which could be carried in anytime by previous guests- The toilets were so dirty all the time which could be because of the customers obviously. Thus, please provide something to clean on your own. I felt uncomfortable.I would be happy to return after a few improvements. There’s a lot of potential for such a new place. 👍

This is NOT a capsule hotel. There is no door to close the capsule, simply a rolling curtain so there is no soundproofing.I had the misfortune of having a bed at the entrance to the room, in front of the lockers, and was constantly awakened by people rummaging through their belongings, the sound of the elevator announcing the opening and closing doors, the sound of the toilets next door.If you are a light sleeper you will experience hell.In addition, the air conditioning did not work in the capsule, we quickly suffocated inside.For ¥4000 per night the value for money is not there at all, I have had better nights in hostels with dormitories for much less.2 stars for the friendliness of the staff, the location and the cleanliness, but in terms of sleep you have to be lucky and be at the end of the room or have a rock's sleep.

I spent three weeks there.Staff is super friendly, location is my favorite (Big park to take walks nearby, bunch of mini temples and shrines close-by, three mega shopping malls at 5 min walking distance, so many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, the neighborhood has flowers that smell good everywhere) I have zero complaints, also very clean place

I visited you at a newly opened capsule hotel.The interior was beautiful, and the rooms and water areas were clean.The reception staff was also very helpful.There were many people from overseas and young people.I still want to use it.thank you very much.

Wonderful Experience!Staying at this hostel was truly wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Whenever I had an issue, they addressed it immediately and always with a smile. The facilities are more than adequate; clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, and spacious common areas. Plus, it's very budget-friendly.The location of the hostel is fantastic! It's right in the city center and very close to public transport stops. This made it super easy to get around. The terrace is also a great spot to relax and enjoy the view.They are very meticulous about cleanliness and organization. Everything was spotless, which was really reassuring. If you're looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay, this is the perfect choice. I definitely plan on coming back! ❤️
