From my Agoda review:Probably one of the worst places I've stayed at my entire life. It was eight nights for about $700 (I got 12 nights in Kyoto for about $800 or $900 with much better quality). This is not good for anyone. There were three, squeaky, ultra soft (to the point your back hurts) twin sized beds (from the 80s) and the room was a good size, but the bedding was various shades of white and threadbare. The decor is dusty, outdated, and creepy quite frankly. Because we arrived early, we could tell the landlady just finished cleaning our room. The towels were damp when we got them. But really the worst part of the room was the fact that there was a bathroom the size of a closet. The bathtub is, and I kid you not, about 1.5 feet wide by 2.75 feet long. Measurements are not exact but I can say that you couldn't stand shoulder width apart in the tub or sit down with your legs flat. This is coming from someone who is 5 feet tall. The shower curtain is pink flamingo in green leafy jungle (very 90s) and offers two selections of mold. You can either have black mold at the top or red algae at the bottom. The ceilings also have an interesting array of mold should you be interested. This may be one of the few places remaining in Tokyo that don't have a bidet Toto toilet. But the main problem is you have about 2 inches between your knees and the door when you sit on the toilet. The standing space is about 7 inches by 7 inches, omitting the toilet and tub. Think portapotty. The bathroom door doesn't close properly but is an interesting shade of crunchy, yellow plastic. Other facilities in the room include two dusty, green curtained windows, one small wood desk and chair, one glass vanity and stool, one microwave, one refrigerator, one kettle (uncleaned), and three dusty hanging portraits with figures emerging from the woodwork. Coupled with the fact that it wasn't really near anything and that there was only one train line and one bus that serviced this neighborhood, it was pretty hard to go anywhere on foot. Honestly, choose a better hotel or place because it will make or break your Tokyo stay. Will never be returning to this episode of Hotel Hell. Feel free to fact check my review.Edit (added after reviewing pictures):I actually forgot some details surprisingly. There were only 2 outlets, of which one is being split into 5. If you must stay here, then you can leave your luggage on the 2nd floor (reception) if you are there early or check in at 3pm. She doesn't allow early check ins. Chinese speaking (but we weren't Chinese). Neighborhood is kinda noisy so there will be early morning construction, truck revving, and late night screams. For your reference are a few photos of the reception room which is right outside of our room, photos of said black mold and bathroom. I regret to inform that those weren't the best shots of the mold.

1. The transportation seems to be convenient, but the red lines belong to different companies. Transportation fees and transfer issues must be considered.2. The room is very small, with two iron beds squeezed together. The beds are so soft that they are about to collapse. The iron beds also make sounds that affect sleep. The toilet is so small that I can't turn around, and I have to open the door to squat on the toilet.3. The landlady has a very bad attitude. She will break into the room, but when a friend comes to visit, she will ask the friend to leave immediately. She will pressure you with rules and bully the guests. Do not let her threaten you. There is no rule that the landlord can enter the room without permission. The landlord Very neurotic, afraid of being taken advantage of by others, thinking that friends will move in, and not considering whether the space is small enough to accommodate a third person?4. Everything is covered with dust. I keep sneezing when I go in. I catch cockroaches in the room. The carpet easily hides dirt.5. I went here after reading some good reviews on travel websites, and found that the reviews were all lies. I wanted to leave on the first day I checked in, but I had already paid for six days. This is really a very bad environment.

I live on the second floor, and this hotel will enter the guest's room without authorization and open the window when the guest is out, which is very rude.

Cost-effective accommodation. The check-in time was delayed on the same day. Thank you to the boss for waiting for us. I am really grateful that the facilities are complete. The room is quite large and clean. …

Near asakusabashi station Exit A4, the stairs are quite steep, the rooms are clean, the beds are soft, there are all amenities, TV, refrigerator, microwave, there is an elevator, the bathroom is a little small and has a soaking tub. If the owner were smiling a little more, I'd give it a full 5 stars.

I stayed for a total of 4 nights and didn't really see the owner except the first day. I was supposed to check in around 8-9pm, but he wasn't there so I called the phone on the counter (the note said to call me).I stayed in room D on the 2nd floor. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, and there was a refrigerator, dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, microwave, and air purifier in the room. There was nothing I shared with others.Oh, maybe because it's a guest house, they said the common entrance on the first floor closes at 12 o'clock at night, so I was a little busy arriving before then. The bathroom is very small. It's small even on its own. When an adult male sits on the toilet, does his knees touch the wall? The bathtub is also very small, but if you just close the shower curtain and stand while washing, there is no problem. The soundproofing isn't very good... so if you are sensitive to noise, pass. Also, if you put up a cleaning card for your room, they cleaned it and even folded the clothes that were lying around, so I was a little impressed.Other than that, the location was appropriate and it wasn't bad for the price.

I normally don't write reviews but this is particularly bad place to stay in. I ended up here as a last-minute booking a few weeks back. Stay away, the hostess is unwelcoming for anyone who isn't Chinese.
