I wanted to soak in the hot springs at Kirishima Hotel, but I couldn't stay alone at the hotel during Golden Week, so I was looking for a place to stay nearby for a day trip to the hot springs, and I was able to easily make a reservation on Jalan.

There are sulfur hot springsThe boss is very nice and they have black eggs for breakfastThe price is not expensive. When the weather is good, you should be able to see Sakurajima volcano.

Great affordable hotel in Kirishima. The rooms and the hotel in general were very clean and spacious. Has both indoor and outdoor onsen, but the outdoor is not open-air. Both were impeccable. The service was especially phenomenal. The owner drove me to her favorite nearby restaurant and I had the most delicious unagi don of my life, not to mention she paid for the meal. She then brought me to a nearby temple and taught me its history, and a shop that does woodworking on trees thousands of years old. She truly went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing stay and saw the beauty Kirishima has to offer. Overall an astounding stay and I'd definitely recommend.

Although the location is a little difficult to find, we had a very comfortable stay in the room and the hot springs. Especially if the weather is nice, you can see Sakurajima in Kinko Bay from your room. It was also helpful to receive toast and coffee for breakfast.

First of all, when you head here, searching for the address in the navigation will fail, so let's search for the phone number. The target value is to aim for ``Villa Kirishima Hills.'' When you see a large sign in front of the building, turn right and go down the slope. It will be on your left in front of a private house. Many people got lost, and I saw the landlady picking them up each time. However, the rooms are clean and homey like a guesthouse, and the hot springs, which are full of sulfur, can be reserved for private use with a large or small "in use" tag. Mimi-chan, the signboard male cat, is also there, which makes me want to visit again.

It's quiet and comfortable, and you can see Sakurajima as well. The rooms are well-cleaned and the hot springs are also kept clean.Breakfast was simple but sufficient with bread, boiled eggs, and coffee.I was also impressed with the customer service.I stayed for 2 nights over New Year's Eve and felt very refreshed. I will definitely visit again.

It's a popular and relaxing place. Check-out time was 11 o'clock and we were able to do so at a leisurely time. It is safe to approach from the nearby large hotel.

I usually choose to stay at Hinaizumi-juku. This place felt like a hideaway, it was small and comfortable. The location from the room is good, and the hot springs are in an outside annex. The sulfur springs were nice. It's soothing for cat lovers and has a friendly owner, making it perfect for those who are tired of regular hotels.

It's a bit pricey for a one night stay without meals (toast and boiled eggs are provided in the morning), but it's during Golden Week so I guess it's reasonable. It felt like a building that used to be a resort for some company was being used as a vacation rental. Both the annex and the large public bath were hot springs♨️, and there was a system where you could use the tag at the entrance to signify that you were taking a bath. I wanted to take my time and soak in the hot springs, but unfortunately I can't have it all to myself for a long time. For dinner, there was a pub just a 10-minute walk away, but it was pitch dark on the way home, and I wished there were more streetlights.
