We had a pleasant stay at this Guesthouse, thanks in particular to a great team. Very good recommendations received, particularly for restaurants. For the room, there is what you need, the equipment is standard, but the human warmth of the place made our stay superb.

I used it before and after traveling overseas.Does it feel like renovating an old house? Good atmosphere.I stayed in a double room, but there were no curtains. It wasn't too bright and didn't bother me at all. At night, you can hear happy voices such as singing from the nearby pub.You can hear all the noise from the hallway, but it wasn't a problem if you used earplugs. It depends on the manners of the people stopping.I used the shower room on the second floor, but it had a tiled floor, was small, and had a Showa-era feel. The shower room on the right side of the stairs on the first basement floor is very clean! ! It's like a bath at home.If you want to use the shower, I recommend the basement floor. The staff were very kind and cute, and they told me where to eat nearby, so I thought it was the best guesthouse.I had a great experience staying at the Old Tokaido. thank you very much.

Please look at the pictures and reviews from other guests. The house is old and they really try to make the best of it. However, the walls could use a new coat of paint. The doors are old and let in a lot of light, we used the room divider to reduce this. Most of the time (unfortunately not always) the other guests were very considerate and correspondingly quiet. The ladies shower rooms were really good.New towels were only available at an additional cost.Ok for 1-2 nights, even if the price is quite expensive for the old rooms. The staff was really extremely friendly and helpful! You guys are great!!♡
