I stayed in one of the private rooms of four with a few of my friends. The room is tight but very clean. I found the beds to be comfortable as well. The only thing for me that would give all 5 stars, is consistency between the beds. Some had curtains on all sides and some didn't. One bed didn't have a lock box, and another bed was missing a power strip. Overall, this was a very nice stay in a great location, at a decent rate. Would definitely come again.

The beds were very comfortable, the staff, friendly, cheerful and helpful, and the common room was nice with the tatamis. A little more space to cook and store our food would have been welcomed, but it was manageable. I appreciated the code for the dorm room door instead of a card key or a traditional key. Beware of some features in the staircase (low concrete beams, easy to hit your head) and in the bathroom (high step). Other than that, a great little place to stay!

For a very old building, it was well maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and kind. Location is great. 10 min walk to Asakusabashi station. 7/11 is nearby. Quiet neighbourhood. Smart lock system for the rooms is great. Our room was very, very small for two people however the comforter for the bed was very comfortable, and the ac worked really well. The female only bathroom was good. No issues.

I loved my stay at Little Japan. Travelling solo can be hard but not here, I never felt alone during my morning chats with the team here. The bed was so comfy and even in a dorm room I enjoyed great sleep every night. Rooms and shower were clean. If I could change anything, I'd love if slippers were available. i didn't bring my own since I had to pack so light. It would have been the cherry on top. I'll be back! With slippers! <3

This place was filthy! Ive stayed in many hostels before and this one is one of the dirtiest. There was heavy mold in the shower. There was also dirty dishes in the bathroom sink next to the urinal which I have no clue why because there’s not even a kitchen on that floor. The bathroom floor is made of pressed wood and you can see how dirt gets trapped in there and gets gross from all people missing the toilet. The luggage storage is on the floor of a room that everyone has to pass through to get to the room and is unstaffed. There was no air conditioning and every rooms window is wide open the whole time. Everyone’s things are all over the place because there is not enough place to store it. The whole vibe was close to an abandoned building homeless encampment. This place was disgusting and pillow uncomfortable and I honestly didn’t even trust if the sheets were clean after what I saw. I checked out as soon as I could and glad to leave.
