Understand; This hotel opened 25 years ago and is now in its 2nd phase of life: from business guests to mainly tourists, as rooms are on the small side for today's standards, and show wear&tear. You can book an artist room (I like and recommend them), but the room still remains tiny. Views are spectacular, though, and you have the usual high service standards for Japan. That said, if you can get a good price and don't mind a tiny room, go, the location is ideal. If prices are high, you are better off booking a more recently built hotel - there are plenty! Especially if it's your first trip to Tokyo/Japan, I recommend you doing so.

We have stayed at The Park Hotel Tokyo many times. Beware so many similar named hotels in Tokyo. Taxi’s drivers sometimes visit many different Park Hotels! …

Hotel location was great, really close to two train stations just a few minutes walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and the rooms were nice with good views. Only complaints I had was carpet looked really worn and my steps creaked in a place or two. Plus my room had a funky smell and I wasn't sure if it was coming from walls cause of the paint from the art or from carpet.

The view from the lobby is fantastic and the location is good. Breakfast was also good. However the room I received was not at all as what was seen in the photos. It was a teeny tiny room that was dated with ripped carpet. The restaurant selection was very limited.

Almost every hotel is an art museum. There were paintings on each floor. The night view from the room was spectacular, and the hotel had a luxurious feel.Above all, the breakfast is very delicious. We highly recommend that you include breakfast.

Although this was my first hotel in Tokyo, I am convinced they have the best view of the city in their main lobby. Upon check-in the sun was setting behind a perfect view of Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji in the distance. There is a coin-operated alcoholic beverage machine just to the left of the desk, and they told us to make ourselves comfortable as they were checking us in. So we got some wine/beers and sat in front of the large windows and enjoyed the view. Their concierge was knowledgeable and led us to a cute area to grab dinner nearby and assisted us in forwarding our luggage the day before we checked out. Each floor of the hotel was a museum and had various pieces on the wall to view on your way to your room. The room was on the small side, as expected, but the shower had great water pressure and heat and there was a closet space for extra storage. Also ordered room service and it came pretty fast and the food was good! The breakfast in the morning was clean and healthy and also tasty! The hotel is also conveniently attached to the walkway to enter Shimbashi Station. All in all, I would definitely recommend you stay here. The neighborhood itself is in the Ginza area and was very quiet. I would recommend exploring it if you’re into lux shopping, but you could see all the best sights and shops in a 1/2 day, then move on to other neighborhoods, IMO.

Overall, it is a great choice. This is a great central location within walking distance of Shimbashi station, Ginza, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating and most spoke a good degree of English.  …

Our stay at the Park Hotel Tokyo was spectacular in every way. From the moment we walked in, the attention to detail was evident. The lobby is wonderful, full of works of art and unbeatable views of the city. The location of the hotel is excellent, with many attractions nearby and excellently connected to public transport. In the lobby there is also a great coffee maker available to guests throughout the day.Our room was part of the "Artist Rooms", and the custom artwork decorating the space made it feel unique. Aside from the art, the room was very comfortable and modern, with all the amenities needed to relax after a day exploring the city. In addition to an incredible window from where we could see the city, the Tokyo Tower, and even Mount Fuji!Breakfast was a real treat, with a wide variety of options that helped us start the day with energy. In short, our experience at Park Hotel Tokyo was incredible, a perfect balance between comfort, art and hospitality. It is a place we would definitely return to on future visits to Tokyo. I absolutely recommend it!
