The owner is very friendly and open. His English is excellent and he is generous. We had to do a lot of laundry and he let us do some laundry for free. The location is very well connected to public transport. There are several convenient stores within walking distance and a drinks vending machine directly opposite the hostel. There are also many dining options at the nearest train station.I was in a room with my brother and there was enough space.

I am so happy that my family and I were able to sleep in the same room for the first time in many years and enjoy chatting and communicating! I would like to thank the designer who designed this room for allowing me to book a room like this. The perfect size and movable mattress is perfect for intimate family interactions. The facility is very clean and comfortable.

It's a bit far from Otsuka Station, but it's okay if you think of it as a walk. It's quiet because it's a residential area, and the owner was friendly. Towels are changed every day and I am highly interested in returning.

Beyond the very clean and well located hotel (5 minutes walk from the station), the staff took great care of us during our stay..Meeting people with such kindness does good for the society in which we live 😊

The rooms are perfect for what you pay. I paid a few days before and it was only around $30 a night. The room itself was everything I needed, a nice bed, an AC, room for all my stuff, and walls that weren't paper thin either. Showers and bathrooms are shared, but at this price point that's a given. If one is taken, there are others you can go to on the other floors. The only thing I would say could be a problem is that there's no elevator, so dragging your luggage up 1 or 2 floors might be a hassle. But with the staff here I don't see that being a problem. When I checked out, they were fine with holding my luggage for a few hours while I grabbed something I needed to ship. When I came back with a huge box, he helped me carry all my stuff to the station. 10/10, way above and beyond the minimum. The man working the counter while I was there also spoke fluent English, a fortunate surprise. Overall 10/10, I definitely would've stayed longer if I'd been in Tokyo longer.

I went here while looking for a cost-effective accommodation close to Ikebukuro, and it was neat and well-cleaned. The stairs on the first floor were narrow and high, so it was difficult to go up and down carrying heavy luggage such as a suitcase, but it was a quiet neighborhood, so I was able to sleep well without any surrounding noise. This was an accommodation I would like to use again next time.

Very nice! Quiet and perhaps a little behind the scenes, but it’s so good to get away from the main Tokyo streets!
