Had a great multiple night stay here. This was our first stop in Japan, and after a long trip it was nice to be met with very kind and helpful staff. The initial impression was great, the hotel and room were very clean. We arrived well after checkin time opened, so there was no significant delay to check in. We used the self check in kiosk - and an employee was there to help too.The location is great, it’s nice to be in walking distance to shops, train stations, and get a sense of Tokyo everyday life for those working in the area. The area has a nice “feel” to it as a person not familiar with Tokyo - felt safe and welcome both inside the hotel and outside. As a native English speaker who knows only a few Japanese words, the staff was fluent in English as well in case my smartphone translate application wasn’t enough.I liked the comfortable beds, the easily available toiletries in case I forgot anything, the room was quiet, was clean, nice shower with a deep tub, laundry machines were available. We also liked the hotel restaurant for an easy breakfast one day.Was very impressed by Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku.

The room is small, but it has everything you need. There are English-speaking receptionists at the front desk.A 15.7m^2 room with 2 large rooms and 1 small room is okay, but if you want better sleep quality, it is recommended to go up to 23m^2The best thing is the location, super close to the station! Get off at the door from Limousine Airport! There is a coin-operated washing and drying machine, but you cannot take it out early.

Hotel is in a great location, right near Shinjuku train station and its various shopping malls! Although it's very busy, it's still easy enough to navigate. Hotel check in and check out are all done via self-serve kiosks. …

Ok so the location is good for the station. That’s about it. The double economy room is soooo small. It’s smaller than New York hotels I’ve stayed in. …

We stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience in Jan24. One of the best features is its prime location, just a short walk from the JR station, making it a convenient hub for exploring the area. …

Great location and easy check in.But honestly, after staying in some amazing hotels during our stay in japan over the past few weeks, this doesn't feel like a 4star.Rooms are small, walls are thin, there are constantly people clustered on the sofas in the reception area which takes away any feel of this being a 4 star. All in all it's okay but I wouldn't book this one again unless I was in a pinch.
