The food is creative and elaborate, and I would like to have a more pure Japanese-style kaiseki. The room and the open-air hot spring in the room were not good enough for the price. The worst part was that while I was eating, the person in the next room was coughing so loudly that I couldn't enjoy my meal.I don't think it can be helped, but I wanted consideration.

I visited for the first time in December 2022 at the invitation of my daughter. The building in which the guest room was built was quite old, and there was a slight musty smell, but the best part was that the staff were very helpful and both dinner and breakfast were excellent.Of course, the cloudy hot springs in Owakudani were also great 🎵The private open-air bath felt better than the private open-air bath❗️

We were warmly greeted during our chilly day trip to Hakone with green tea after being walked to our room. It was exciting to experience a traditional Japanese room during our stay. Both the indoor and outdoor onsens were very relaxing and perfect for the colder weather we had. Yukatas were provided to wear to dinner, which was made up of maybe 13 small courses that were artfully crafted. This was a great place to relax in Hakone before we continued our trip to Kyoto.
