Very reasonably priced hotel. This guy in the front desk Mr Takeda-San (武田)is very helpful. He patiently used Google translate to help communicate with us. He also recommended good Osen place just 15 min drive away. The parking is ¥1000 per day. The room is considered big in Japan standard. There are free alcohol available for guests at the lobby. Very generous. Will come back again in future.

The hotel treat guests in a weird way. They advertise to have restaurants inside the building for The guests. …

The hotel closes its restaurant to their own guests. They promote banquets in the city and get crowds of people having meals there, even teenager football players. As a result, guests can not have dinner at the restaurant they advertose they have in hotel's plataforma. Very dishonest.Washing machine and dry machine don't work properly and the supervisor does not do anything in relation to it. You get your clothes wet in the end and have to put them in your luggage in this way.The city closes most eveyrhing 4 PM.There is absolutely nothing to do apartamento from Miho no Matsubara.Better is to do not stay at the city, just make a stop for morning or afternoon and stay in another city during the night.

Really nice hotel, with good installations and convenient location near Shimizu train station. The staff was really polite and helpful! The only letdown was the size of the shower, which was hard to handle for a taller person like myself - the curtain and ceiling were a bit lower than other hotels and the tub itself was kind of narrow, so the curtain kept sticking to my arms which was unpleasant.Still, the room itself is spacy and nice even for Japanese standards. I'd stay there again for sure!

The room is decent and clean. They provided everything you need from toothbrush (3 different hardnesses), razor, lotion, even face cleaner and night cream, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap (good quality and higher brand). They're serving wines and different sake in the afternoon. Their location is perfect, closer to the train and bus station, shopping arcade, and lots of restaurants in the area including the fish market where you can buy sushi, sashimi of good quality and good price. A coffee machine is available in the lobby, and is a good quality coffee and available anytime. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a fee but a discounted price if you are guests. We have a small fridge inside our room, air cleaner and the humidifier is available if you want it. They are replacing towels and pajamas everyday. We have a good size of desk and TV. But we don't use the TV since we are having a hard time understanding their language. The elevator is the tricky one. You need to hold the open button until you get out unless you want to be whacked by the door, which happened to me on my first day. The staff are very nice and helpful, oh well this is Japan we all know Japanese people are so friendly and polite, this is given.

This is a typical business style hotel in Japan. Rooms are relatively small, but perfectly well equipped including reliable wireless internet service. The breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant is good but not exceptional although it does feature an very good Japanese curry for breakfast.

I stayed here for a couple of nights during a recent business trip to Shimizu. I have stayed at this hotel before, but they seem to have done a recent remodel which was somewhat better.  …
