2024.10.11 (Fri) check-in - 10.14 (Mon) check-outThe room condition is okay. However, because the accommodation has a slightly retro feel, you may feel a slight smell. The staff's presence seems to be a bit short, and check-in and check-out are unmanned. It may be difficult to leave your luggage. However, the staff was very friendly when asking related questions. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Shizuoka Station, so it may be inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. Please refer to it.And the main drawback is that there is no bathroom in the room. So, you can use the bathroom in the hallway. There is a separate shower room on the second floor, and you have to shower there.

I chose it based on the price and reviews, and I'm very satisfied. This time, I stayed on a solo motorcycle trip, and there was space available in the employee parking lot, so I rented it for a fee. The atmosphere inside the hotel was retro from the Showa era, giving it a slightly mysterious impression, perhaps due to the gap between modern times. It was interesting that the sauna room was also a library, and I was able to use my time in a different way than usual. Above all, the friendly staff will make your trip stress-free.

A really interesting hotelIf you love reading, I think you can enjoy it for a day or two!I stayed in a twin room,There is of course a bed in the room.We had everything we needed, including a refrigerator, kettle, electrical outlet, hangers, mirror, and air purifier!Amenities were brought from a private room on the 3rd floor, so I got the impression that there was enough to stay there without having to bring anything. The toilet and shower are not in the room, the toilet is outside the room and the shower is on another floorIn particular, the Bathroom Bunko is very unique, and if you're a book lover, I think you'll definitely spend time there. You can read many books in a relaxed atmosphere, so you can enjoy it as if you were reading in the bath. Also, there was a book-related service available only to hotel guests, which was a very nice encounter. There is also a table tennis room, so we had a lot of fun even as adults.RecommendedThere is a cafe on the first floor, so you can have tea or drink alcohol depending on the day.It was such an interesting hotel that I thought it might be fun even if it was just for this purpose!

Even though I checked in late at night, the person at the front desk was very kind and welcomed me.I was worried that it would have a retro feel and musty smell, but that wasn't the case and the room was cute and the shower room was nice and clean. There was cheap parking within walking distance, which was nice 🅿️

My first impression when I entered the room was "It's small!" ️' & I immediately started the air conditioner in the heat of the low-temperature sauna state. However, I was concerned about the smell coming from this air conditioner, so I opened the window to ventilate it (I'm glad it wasn't a barren window 😅)There is a small refrigerator in the room, but there is no bath, toilet, or TV. There is a private shower room on the second floor, and the changing room is quite small. There is no parking lot at the hotel, so use a nearby coin parking lot.I think it's enough for just sweating, but it's quite small and I felt a little sick in the middle of the shower due to the pressure and heat. May not be suitable for people with claustrophobia.

There is a room for 4 people and the cost performance is great. There is no private parking lot, so if you are using a car, there are coin parking lots nearby. Please have your QR code or reservation number ready when checking in. Amenities are located on the 3rd floor.

[A low-cost business hotel where you can experience Showa retro]I was looking for a cheap accommodation for work in Shizuoka City and chose this place. It was 4000 yen per person for weekends. This hotel has taken advantage of an old hotel built in the 1970s and renovated the interior and furnishings to give it a retro feel. The design of the entrance has a retro feel that looks great in photos! On the second floor, there are separate shower rooms for men and women (about 4 rooms), with the latest equipment and a spacious washroom that is comfortable to use. On the same floor, there is a library that is a former public bath that has been renovated, and the retro-style bathroom and sofa furniture make it feel like a retro cafe, where you can read interesting books for free. The library room, which is a renovated sauna room, has the feel of a secret base. There was even a table tennis room on the third floor. The observation restaurant on the top floor has a nice retro feel and can be used freely. In the morning, you can eat breakfast for a fee. There are many photogenic points, so if you like that kind of fashion, I think bromide photography is suitable for you!Simple and clean interior. There is a refrigerator, table and chairs, and electric bot, but no TV. Washrooms and toilets are shared only on each floor. The door is old and doesn't have any soundproofing properties, so outside noise can be heard through it. It was cheap, retro-style, and seemed to be frequented by young people, and I was woken up many times by the noise of people gathered in the room and the loud voices of young people returning from drinking parties. There were earplugs in the amenity corner on the 3rd floor, so this may have been a precaution. I had imagined it to some extent, but I couldn't sleep comfortably.20-30 minutes walk from Shizuoka Station. It's really far!A shopping arcade stretches from the station to near the hotel, and although it is mostly a shuttered shopping street, there are many retro-style signboards and shops, and you can have a fun time walking while looking at them. It is convenient that there is a large 7-Eleven right in front of the hotel.Anyway, I thought it was a worthwhile hotel (but noisy) for those who love Showa retro (1970s).
