When I stayed at Hatoya, I forgot my own towel, and since it was an important towel I had received, I contacted them to ask for it, and they just told me to send it! ?I was treated badly, and in the end it wasn't sent. I still can't forget it being the worst hotel ever.

It was introduced as a retro hotel on YOUTUBE and I've always wanted to stay there.Luckily, the room I stayed in was a corner room in the Royal Annex! The entrance and bathroom were specially designed and spacious. It was the best room with a balcony and a view of the ocean, Hatoya's neon lights, and the theater annex👏The gorgeous lighting, the passageway connecting the theater annex and the main building, the Hatoya fire brigade, the Hatoya neon lights...I was so moved to actually see them.I took a lot of photos.I hope it continues forever, but it's difficult to maintain. I think...I would like to go there again someday✨

While on a family trip, I stopped by the famous Hatoya Hotel. The facility feels like it was built during the bubble period, and everything has a great Showa feel to it. (in a good way)There was also a swimming pool, which the children enjoyed. The facilities in the room are old, there are few outlets, and there is no WiFi.We shouldn't bring in such modern common sense. Let's feel the Showa era.

I stayed here while touring Izu.This long-established inn is famous for the commercial ``If you go to Ito, Hatoya.''It is full of amusement park-like leisure features such as a theater restaurant, a large karaoke room, an aquarium-like submarine hot spring, and pigeon goods. In the Reiwa era, the word DX is everywhere, but here it is full of words that are becoming obsolete: deluxe.Everywhere in Hatoya's building is full of deluxe, from the chandeliers to the sofa arrangements, from the colors to the handrails on the stairs. The connecting corridor between the main building and the new building is particularly impressive.I've stayed at quite a few hotels and inns, but I've never seen a deluxe hotel like this. The carpet that stands up against the wall, the shape of the window that resembles a fish, and the lighting design are all outstanding. The great thing about Hatoya Hotel is that everything is well maintained. There are many Showa-style accommodations all over the country, but many of them are set with decadence.Hatoya is different. The carpet is not worn out, and every corner has been taken care of, and it looks like it was recently intentionally recreated from the old/Showa era.Hatoya Hotel is not a nostalgic place that has passed its heyday, but an active deluxe hotel.

I went here because Ito Hotel Juraku was not available. There was a lot of dust in the air in the room, and there was something yellow on the futon, which made my back hurt a lot in the morning, probably because the futon was old.The dinner place had a one-hour time limit, and there was no drinks. It's very expensive and you have to pay separately. The people being served in the cafeteria go around cleaning up the plates. It's rare for the aunties to not be kind, but it wasn't very nice. In fact, foreigners who received service education in Japan are more kind. The food is far away from the table and all the food. It's cold. The sashimi wasn't cold and was either a bit old or watery, but the miso soup was delicious. Do the old ladies who have their plates taken away want to quickly put them away and go home? People other than the person checking in don't smile or say anything even if I say hello. I also ignore the greetings from the person cleaning the bathroom and the man cleaning the entrance. If you are deaf, we recommend hearing aids.Ah...there was no heirloom value of 35,000 yen. Let's give more money and go to something nice!

I stayed there because I wanted to see the living bubble architecture.I think it will really hit home for Showa retro fans. The seafood buffet was delicious and satisfying. The public bath was small, the view wasn't great, and there was no open-air bath, so I was disappointed. However, what is worth mentioning is the bath attached to the room. The sea side has a nice view, and the Izu stone tiles and bathtub have a luxurious feel. What's more, it's a luxury where even the bath in the room is directly fed by the hot spring water. This hotel is highly recommended for those who are particular about Showa retro and hot springs. It is not recommended for those who want to use it as a regular resort hotel. There are many other hotels that are beautiful and have delicious food.Definitely recommended for retro lovers.Personally, I would love to stay there again.

I stayed one night at Hatoya Hotel for the first time in my life.Hatora is such a place that you can drive straight to Hatoya without doing any other sightseeing or swimming at the beach. I clearly decided on the purpose of my trip to Hatoya.I was so excited that I arrived just after 2pm. Still, there were many cars. It's very popular...Since I arrived early, I was able to park my car next to the Hatoya Fire Department garage. I can't help but want to salute the Hatoya Fire Brigade 🫡When I first saw it on YouTube and Instagram, it looked more outdated than I expected. . That's what I thought, but those thoughts flew away like a dove the moment I entered the entrance. The front desk staff was also very responsive and check-in was smooth.I had to juggle the lobby several times before I got my room key. (I regret that the signboard I wanted didn't appear)The gorgeous chandeliers, red carpets, and long hallways were all new sights and smells from the past, and my companions couldn't stop taking deep breaths. The tension is too high. I am convinced that this is a deluxe facility!I took the elevator just across the hallway to the 12th floor of the annex, and when I opened the curtains, I was transfixed by the view of the main building and the neon sign. I'm glad because I thought it would be better not to be on the sea side. And there are pigeons in many rooms! Try searching around. Cleaning is also thorough. After having Hatoya Sable and tea, we went for a walk. My photo folder is filling up fast.Since it was Obon, the meal was a buffet. it was good. The guides also moved quickly. I get the impression that there are a lot of veterans who have been working there for decades. The story is so interesting that I can't help but smile.I went back to get the roast beef, tempura, and shellfish platter several times. Coffee and tea are also delicious. When I returned to my room, my futon was laid out and I couldn't have been happier.♨️The bath in the public bath is nice ~ and the changing room was so big that I couldn't help but whisper to myself. After getting out of the bath, we played table tennis and had fun at the game center ♨︎After relaxing in the room, go to BAR Hana 🥃I felt so comfortable talking with the master that time had passed before I knew it lol. Thank you for seeing me off until I was out of sight. Please continue to do your best.I just walked to the back and went to eat ramen for dinner 🍜The price has gone up, but this is delicious.Breakfast is also a buffet. Seating was free, but the first floor was full. Hatoya's seaweed is cute! The kamaboko and fish were delicious.I had such a great time that I can't write about it here.I hope Hatoya Hotel continues to do its best.I will go again soon. It was 1 night and 2 days that went by so quickly.

Hatoya Hotel has been familiar to me since I was a child. The impact of a catchy commercial can last for years. Now, the most important thing about the hotel is that there is a free shuttle bus from Ito Station every 30 minutes. The hotel is retro and old, but well maintained. It's not super clean due to aging, but as long as you consider the hotel to have a retro Showa feel, it doesn't bother you and is actually welcome. The feeling of the room can be summed up in one word: mysterious. A fusion of Japanese and Western styles, an unusually shaped bathroom, and National air conditioning. However, hot spring water is drawn indoors. The food is buffet. It's best not to have high expectations. It was a hotel that appealed to an older man in his 40s.
