I stay here during the Kakegawa Festival every October. It's a pretty normal business hotel.*Good point•Good customer service-Free parking available (additional 500 yen if parking before check-in at 3pm)•Accommodation fees are not expensive-Outside noise doesn't bother me much•Close to Kakegawa Station*Points of concern-There is no outlet near the bed-The walls are thin so you can sometimes hear noises from the next room.•There is no convenience store nearbyThere is no problem if you just stay overnight!

Today, October 17th, I booked a stay at Smile Hotel Kakegawa through Nippon Travel.Although it was a short walk from the station, the woman at the front desk was very helpful and explained the meals well, so I thought it was a very good hotel.

It's a 3-minute walk from Kakegawa Station, where the Shinkansen also stops, and although it's not new, it's kept clean so I don't mind.We stayed on a Friday for 1 adult, 1 elementary school student, and 1 preschooler, and it was 5,800 yen, which was a great value for money. The price is the same for 2 adults and 1 preschooler. The double bed had a loft and the children were very happy.I made a reservation online, but when I checked my reservation confirmation email the day before, I didn't receive it, so I called the hotel just to be sure. The hotel staff tried various methods to find out, but they didn't have any reservations. At that time, there were no rooms available with a non-smoking loft, so I was given a smoking room of the same type. When I told them that I don't like smoking in the room, they used ozone deodorization, and although it smelled a little, I was able to sleep. The response over the phone at that time was very good, which I was grateful for.

I used it on my way from Kanagawa to Nagoya by car after work on Friday. I informed them of my arrival time, and even though it was late, they turned on the air conditioner when I entered the room, and even though it was a very hot day, I was able to relax as soon as I entered. The price was surprisingly low at around 5,000 yen for two people, so I didn't have high expectations. There were no disposable slippers, and the room was clean and clean despite the cost reduction. If you look closely, it was...Even 20 years ago, there were no hotels that cost 2,500 yen per person per night, and yet they were so polite and considerate. Also, although I don't like to use the kettle in the room, I was grateful that there was a kettle in the lobby so I could always have hot water.Later,Is it because I told them I would be checking in late at night? The room was on the first floor. I guess they are thinking about that so that it makes less noise! I agree

It seems better to reserve the parking lot.The hotel feels a little old, but I think you'll have no problems staying there. It is a pity that the shower in the 5th room was weak.only one elevatorThere is a refrigerator although it is small. If you stand it up, it can hold three 2 liter plastic bottles. There is no freezer. The toilet has a washlet, but the water pressure is low and I don't feel like I can wash the toilet properly. .I think it can't be helped since it's a cheap hotel!I hope you will consider that aspect!

This is Kasaoka, who used to take care of me a lot in the past! This is the hotel I have personally used in the past. It's a shame that I haven't been able to make any more business trips to Shizuoka lately. It's nostalgic so I sometimes use it when I travel 😃If you seek perfection in anything, there is no end to it.If you live there, it's the capital.

There's nothing around. (lol)Most of the restaurants are across the railroad tracks. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the station, but it takes a little longer to get to the other side of the station. There are no convenience stores nearby, so I feel like I have to be a little careful. The parking fee is cheap, so you can stay there cheaper than other places. Other hotels are surprisingly expensive for accommodation and parking.Considering the price, I think the rooms and services are reasonable. However, I almost laughed at the fact that the front chest pocket was full of IQOS. It’s the front face (lol)There were some parts where the air conditioner in the room kept hitting my face and it was painful, but considering the price, I guess it's worth it.

The unit bath was clean, with the minimum necessary amenities, and there were no problems with the indoor facilities, but the air conditioner was disappointing. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a large wall-mounted air conditioner. Well, it's probably for business use, but the moment you turn it on, it runs at full power! . Even in the heat of the moment, it feels reliable and runs at full power no matter how long it lasts. It felt really cold, so I tried reducing the airflow and increasing the temperature, but it didn't change. Even with the air conditioner set to the maximum temperature of 27 degrees, I was impressed by how it kept the room cool. This is an old-fashioned constant-speed air conditioner, and the temperature sensor must be faulty. If it's too cold and you turn off the air conditioner, you'll end up in a steaming bath, and if you turn on the air conditioner, you'll feel shaky. The temperature has finally calmed down to 27 degrees, but now a strange smell is attacking me. This is a hotel that is difficult to use during this season when air conditioning is essential.
