Beautiful authentic ryokan! Warm helpful staff, fast check in, but no private onsen… which we are not quite comfortable sharing baths with others… breakfast is beautifully presented and tasty! Room is very clean and well equipped (Shizuoka green tea is very nice!)… only one watch out, beware of the pesky lady boss (when you see her you will know she’s the boss), as she trail us around and sticks into our room and kept pestering us to leave because we have one more friend who booked a nearby hotel and don’t stay here. We only took 10-15 mins to settle in and leave for dinner but was closely followed the whole time… well… but it has a very well manicured garden (at breakfast area) and this ryokan is located just beside the Road of God walk to a full view of Mount Fuji!!! We drove in so if you’re taking other transport pls know this is about 1Km walk from bus stop.

I forgot my small coin purse in my room, but when they called me, they kindly said they could send it in an envelope. The hotel leads to Miho no Matsubara, which is perfect for a morning walk. Most of the staff are from overseas, but they were very kind to the children and made us feel at ease!

I didn't like itWhen I tried to drink water in my room, I was surprised to find that there was only a paper cup, and only one for each person.I didn't know the cost of the accommodation, so I thought it would be cheap, but it turned out to be a decent price, so I was once again surprised by the paper cup.the meal was deliciousThere were so many that I thought it looked old-fashioned.

We came from Italy and we found it to be a very good typical Japanese hotel, excellent service, location near the sea and with views of Mount Fuji. Is it worth doing the Japanese bath

There's nothing around, but it's a nice place to take a morning walk. The hotel is a 3-story building with only stairs. The facility is old, but I think it is kept clean. The bath was new. However, I went in midsummer, and the downside was that the hallway was hot. Most of the staff are foreigners of Asian descent. That's fine, but I'm not particularly fluent in Japanese, so it was difficult for me to understand. The sashimi for rice was delicious. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly good, and overall I don't think it's a three star hotel. Is the hotel somehow disappointing? It was an inn.

I chose this place to stay because it was the closest to Miho no Matsubara and I wanted to see Mt. Fuji over the sea, but I had to walk a little. The inn seems to have a history and feels traditional, but you can't even enter the lobby unless the check-in time is right. It was hot when we went, so we had to wait in the scorching heat until we entered the inn. There are no air-conditioned cafes around, just a couple of traditional stalls. The hotel itself had good service and food was delicious. The room was clean, but since it was an old building, the view from the room was not very good.Somehow, this is a disappointing accommodation.

This is a trip in December 2023.Most of the employees are foreigners. I was greeted with a smiling face in the parking lot, and when I entered the entrance, a line of foreign waitresses lined up to greet me.It felt a bit strange, like being in a foreign country, but everyone was very nice. The room was spacious and clean, but everything in the refrigerator had to be paid for. I think it would be okay to serve at least one bottle of water. The food was delicious and plentiful, but was there something missing? When I thought about it, there was no "solid fuel" menu. There wasn't much steaming food and the food was cold overall. The explanation of the menu was too fast, and I could hear voices chatting in a foreign language from the kitchen, which made me uninterested. The best part was, I was looking forward to the final meal and the sea bream flakes, but when the tasteless maitake mushrooms came out, I thought, "What!? !? The waitress quickly said, ``Instead of sea bream, I'll use maitake mushrooms,'' and left quickly, leaving me dumbfounded without any explanation as to why the menu had changed. There is no way that the menu that is advertised on the official website will be downgraded without notice... If you are planning to go, you should check to see if there are any changes to the menu. The bath was clean, but the open-air bath was small, dark, and cold. I had high expectations because it wasn't cheap, but I was disappointed that I couldn't enjoy the quality of a Japanese ryokan at all. The only good thing is the location.

Non-smoking Ryokan. Very clean, no foul smell. Even though this is a older Ryokan, but we have all the amenities.Breakfast and dinner are good.
